So, we learned that the Others implanted some sort of device to make Claire sick on command. Earlier in the season, Ben conned Sawyer into thinking that a heart implant would kill him should Sawyer's pulse exceed a certain rate. While it is obvious that that wasn't true, wouldn't it be possible that the Others might have injected him with something? Another means for Juliet to save face?

Juliet's already 'saved face', so I don't think the writers would use that device again, but yes, it's possible they put something else in him (alien abductee implants comes to mind :laughing:), and for that matter, they may have done something to Jack, too.

Who knows? They are getting really good at lobbying surprises at us.
