Desmond and Eko - Accidental priests

Sun and Rachel - Pregnancy in spite of supposed obstacles

And a few others...Very interesting.

Desmond / Libby - 'almost' doctors

Sawyer / Cooper - Con men

Everyone - Daddy issues

etc...

Not in this episode exactly but Jack and Juliet both have sisters (and nephews) whose health and well being appear to rest in the hands of the Others! Jack with Claire because of her implant and Juliet with Rachel because of her cancer being in and out of remission supposedly at Jacob's hand.

Don't forget Jack and Juliet's work in the medical field. Sun and Claire's pregnancy, sun and claire's abductions (albeit one more real than the other)

Not just people.. but what about things? We could go on and on I guess :p This ep. there was a cross in the church Desmond was staying at, which is exactly the same as the cross in Eko's church. So what could these pairs mean?

I am thinking it could be with Sawyer. My thinking is a bit fuzzy right now.
