I just watched Des's first flash again in slow motion,. When Des cuts the rope for the parachuter to fall into the parachute charlie is holding it with Hurley and Jin. He died and was back again to help get her down...whats with that???
did he die or not?

I would say, bad editing or they didn't want to shoot the scene again without charlie

Maybe its a clue that everything Des does, its already predicted. He cant escape fate or the change the outcome of this or any story. Its like the universe is already planned out every possible outcome,so he didnt change the story by saving Charlie,he was supposed to save him from the start. What im trying to say is that either by saving him or not,the possibilities were already laid out in front of him.Staged by a greater sth!:santache:

I agree that it was intentional. Clearly Charlie had to live, not die, for the events to unfold and Desmond was being given the vision so he could save him. He just misunderstood. I hope this is a larger clue and that it means that even if Charlie appears to die in the finale, there will be a hint that he actually survived.

why do everybody keep saying that Charlie is going to die?is it definite?do we know it from someplace?is it on the previews? How do we know such a thing???

No.....we don't know anything. Just some guy who claims to have the scripts. No way to know if he's right until the ep airs, but he could be missing pages, be the dupe of an official foiler, or a total liar.

OK,I SEE.its cos ive been hearing such a thing since before Flashes Before your eyes,i guess.Desperate fan cries, petition sign outs etc .To me ,its more possible for our beloved jack to be killed, than Charlie.
i dont know,i dont see the writers heading to that direction. Its just too obvious to confirm.i wouldnt like it at all .just like with Christian being Claires daddy.they confirmed the obvious and i hated it
