Tonight's episode, although revealing and engaging, was much more of a Sun flashback than a Jin flashback. Jin had more presence in the Glass Ballerina than in tonight's episode. All in all though, I feel that Jin/DDK really got jipped this season in terms of screen time and character development. Season three is definitely Sun's season.

Both of the Sun/Jin flashbacks seemed a little Sun- skewed. But we did learn a bit about Jin In this episode, through Sun.

I think that Sun/Jin flashbacks come as a package deal, even if it may be more centered on one over the other. However, I do agree that the character of Jin got jipped this season. DDK deserves better.

This flashback really opened up Jin's character.
Being in the Army, knowing kungfu etc etc.
Maybe preparing for some dedicated Jin flashbacks (time during army etc) when Sun is gone...
No point introducing the audience to the fact Jin had some interesting things happen to him before Sun and killing him off.
Guess he could be safe, hopefully.
Although Sun's storyline just seems to becoming wrapped up. Though i want my Mr Paik!

This season really did seem to have two Sun episodes and no Jin episodes. I don't see them as a package deal. The first season was tremendous, with House of the Rising Sun really showing us more about Sun, and then spinning it into information about Jin in his episode (was it ...In Translation?) I hope to see more Jin episodes next year!

"The Glass Ballerina" was a Jin/Sun package deal. There were scenes that were shown through Jin's eyes with Sun not being anywhere in those scenes. This episode, on the other hand, was purely Sun flashbacks.

Season Three: The Year of the SUN.
Second only to Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Locke of course.
