Paik is way too rich and powerful not to be involved. I thought it was strange how he just happened to have exactly $100k in his safe, all counted and stacked, nothing more, nothing less, and he just happened to have an empty envelope in his safe when Sun asked for the money. I agree with some other threads that have suggested he and "Jin's mother" are in on a con - Paik new she would be blackmailing Sun, and he knew exactly how much money to have on hand. It looked a little like an embryo or part of an embryo to me, lol. This theory has been discussed before. It seemed plausible back when, but I don't know anymore. Ya know, when we watched it I didn't notice the picture this time - it seemed there was a nice flat screen monitor where the pic was in the other episode. Did I just miss it? |
