They would make an excellent couple since they're both cut from the same cloth. Both are users of thier kids who feel no connection to their offspring at all.

Locke's dad Cooper used Locke to get what he wanted which was the kidney to prolong his life. He didn't care about Locke in cultivating a father son relationship.
Same with Jin's bio mom. All she wanted was the chunk of money she could get off Jin since she knew he married into money.
