View Full Version : Christian Shepard's Body
ekoandthebunnymen 04-26-2007, 11:54 AM Sorry if this has been discussed already:
This goes to the fake plane crash theory, they probably needed a few bodies to make it look somewhat legit so they probably took his body for this from the coffin.
Thoughts?@!?

Those people are still alive we've seen them, I do think the christian sheperd idea is intriguing
marksman 04-30-2007, 03:02 PM Those people are still alive we've seen them, I do think the christian sheperd idea is intriguingWhen did we see the three who were taken the first night? I know we'[ve seen the stewardess, but she was taken on day 47, and the children were taken a couple weeks after the crash.
I like the theory that some bodies were taken to provide DNA for a faked crash site. Although I wonder why they'd bother abducting live people for that. One would think there were enough dead bodies littering the Island to provide plenty of DNA material.
wintermute 04-30-2007, 03:29 PM Actually, did we ever see any of the bodies of the other people on the plane anywhere??

Yes, remember we see Kate stealing shoes off a dead body, and later there is the funeral / cremation thing where they put all the bodies in teh fuselage.

What about the bodies that where with the Pilot and stuff I dont recall seeing any dead bodies there

But that was a couple of days later and the Others could have taken some dead bodies by then

The section of the plane with the pilot in it was small when Jack Kate and Charlie went to find it. I think it was mainly the corrider right before the bathroom and then from the bathroom to the cockpit.
A lot of the dead bodies were in the lake that Kate and Sawyer took a little dip in. That could have been another place for the Other's to get genetic material.

I only reacall seeing two and it looked like they stayed put

Really? I thought there were a bunch of cadavers in the lake. But, then again, I have never watched an episode more than once, so I am probably remembering things wrong. Probably mixing up the lake scene with Sawyer and Kate with some like horror movie or something.

I tell you the missing hairbrushes from Season 1 is where they got their genetic material! That line had to be in there for some reason!

LOL, you could be on to something...:)
Deadshot 04-30-2007, 05:47 PM It'd be a good source of DNA and something has to explain that line.
molly1977 04-30-2007, 05:52 PM I can just picture Ethan running around a stealing everyone brushes, tagging them so he can properly map out each individual's genetic material, and running back through the jungle with all of these brushes. It is nice to think of Ethan in a funny sense for once.
rayhimself 04-30-2007, 07:35 PM The producers claimed that there was the big clue in the pilot ep. and the masses have yet to pic up on it. I always thought it was the hairbrush exchange but on a purgatory tip, until they ruled that theory out. (who needs a brush when you're dead?) The DNA theory has some pepper on it.
