There has been much made of TPTB statement that the "dead stay dead on the island". So what happened with Mikahail? Did he have rabies? (jk) His death, feigned or otherwise seemed pretty gruesome. You now have to wonder if Locke was in on it. You also have to wonder if Ms. Klugh was not really shot. Her shooting never made any sense to me any way. And then there is Kelvin. If the Island has such great healing powers, why wouldn't he recover from the head wound.

Oh yeah and then there is Julia shooting Pickett. She did that fairly easily too. was that just a plant?

This ep just raised a whole slew of new quetions.

I'm waiting for the episode that shows Boone, Shannon, Sceve, Ethan, Eko, Nikki, Paulo, Ana Lucia, Libby etc etc all waking up and trying to claw out of their graves every day ... and then smothering in the sand ... and waking up ... and smothering ... over and over into infinity. If only they hadn't buried them, they would have been alright!

Didn't ABC replace Lost during it's hiatus with that Deja Vu show? didn't that show bomb?

Well, I guess the sonic fence just makes your ears bleed profusely without killing you, and the rest was feigned.

Maybe this is the beginning of the fabled Zombie Season.

I thought that was pretty lame.

I am holding onto some hope, that TPTB can explain all these events without having to use some lame plot device (ie: Island is conscious and has omnipotent powers).

As for Mikail being dead... perhaps he was only injured to the brink of death? staged the entire event, with an elaborate foam/blood producing agents.

Was his patch on the other eye? Or has it always been on his right?

I think they're saving that for the so-called "Zombie Season."

Sorry. Couldn't help myself.

i don't think it was all staged...the others were on the inside at the time, apparently it keeps smokey out, it most likely would have been turned on. i'm guessing that the fence just makes you go into convulsions or something, not kill you. And we know the powers of the island can heal you pretty quickly.

ridiculous that they let him go, but Dez did sound a bit like Ben, and Goodwin, in saying "you've killed more of them then they have of you"...i liked that. tied in very well the "change of perspectives" theme. It is becoming increasingly clear that although jack wishes for Live Together, Die Alone, these people who have been stranded here in different ways are living in an Every Man For Himself world. Locke on his mission, Roussou, Dez and Penny (not really in the fight against the others), Juliet, Jack was going to leave the island. it was quite true about the leaders fading away. Perhaps the tables will be turned as Kate will not run away from this, Sawyer will be a helping/leading member of the team, and...sayid...will still be sayid

Did anyone check his vitals after he went through the fence? I dont remember anyone touching him at all. Its possible that he was never dead at all, the others have been staging all kinds of things all along. My guess would be that the Others knew Sayid, Kate and Locke were already on their way before they found the others camp, because the whole thing was staged anyway.

Kate kind of examined him, but never checked his pulse. I remember this because I was yelling at the screen "TAKE HIS GD PULSE".

If Locke knew he would survive, that would explain his willingness to toss him into the fence (which was so out of character). I'm one of those who believes Locke knows more than he's letting on.

Yeah... and it would explain Mikhail's "Thank You" to Locke when he pushed him into the "sonic fence". They could have made some kind of deal before leaving the Flame station.

Implants! (no jokes please) Remember Claire's. She was bleeding from the nose and mouth just like Mikhail. Ben,etal could have placed them in everyone ready to go off when needed. I thought that as soon as Claire was sick. All those convulsions would look like he was dying. I think Mrs Klugh was a staged act just like their costumes.

It probably wouldn't be into infinity though as they'd no doubt make a little progress each time they reanimated. ;) ...Makes me really wonder if the zombie season really is a joke afterall.... :eek2:
