Does anyone remember the abc.com Lost promo for Season 2, the one which stated they've survived this and that and the other thing, "but..." and I'm quoting now, "on the other side of the island... they will discover... they're NOT the survivors... they thought they were."

That wasn't explained by anything in season 2. Does that promo finally start to make sense in season 3?

It was explained by season 2 when they introduced the Tailies. Up until that point the Fusies thought they were the only survivors.

I thought that the harrowing experiences of the tail section survivors, compared to the cushy existence of the fuselage group illustrated this point to my satisfaction
