Yeah but she was hurt, in my opinion, Charlie's opinion and all the Losties' opinions. And, I'm sorry, but even if Claire wasn't killed or whatever, Charlie was hanged! And they have killed other people. I'm sorry, Ben is a liar and a manipulator. Claire isn't the first woman they've kidnapped, that I'm sure of, and we know the women die, so I'm sorry, but I don't believe him for a second.

I also thought of the grabbing of the tailies, though as far as we know Cindy isn't pregnant (and we haven't even seen any of the other tailie women identified). I wouldn't really classify Ethan kidnapping Claire and Charlie a raid, but the tailie stuff I would.

Well I think what he meant was that they don't intend to hurt anyone.

For some reason the first thing that came to mind wasn't Claire or the tailies, but Frenchie Herself. They took Alex x amount of years ago, so they seem like pro's in the field.

I figured he was referring to the WHOLE shooting match, not just any one thing. The costumes, the deception, the kidnappings, the kids. It feels a bit like the others are fighting for thier survival and are willing to feed on innocents to do that. I don't mean that literally now, I mean they are willing to use, kill, test, and whatever anyone that is not one of them. They've had people crash on the island before, and they've used them up like natural resources.

That's exactly my point. I got the feeling that this was not the first crash in which they used passengers as guinea pigs. But who knows, you can take every line in every episode about three or four different ways if you try to.

Maybe he was referring to the fact that they've done other kidnappings (i.e. the Tailies), not just that they've kidnapped women that were preggers.
