is it just me or does it seem that this entire season, the info and answers we get are basically dead on with speculation from like a year ago... total speculation which we really had no way of backing up... just hunches and wild guesses.

i am really getting the feeling that this whole season was scripted based upon speculation during season 2...

anyone else??

I was think about that too dwolk311, it seems that TPTB fired the writing staff in lieu of cheaper labor provided by the lovely fans who religeously type plot lines for FREE. :)
I can't wait until they read about my Smurf theory...

It was almost ho-hum when TPTB finally revealed that Locke's dad is the original Sawyer and that Claire is Jack's half-sister. I'm not saying that it wasn't an exciting scene to see our Sawyer realize the truth, but I'd soon like a reveal to actually be a reveal for us as well- not something that we figured out 2 seasons ago.

But I kinda like it when some of the reveals are like that. WE the audience know, but the Lostaways don't, and we're eagerly anticipating the payoff when they finally find out.

Another great example was Sawyer and Christian from season 1. We always knew that would be shared with Jack, but we didn't know when or how.

Isn't part of the fun finding out that you guessed the outcome correctly?
And the look on the character's faces when they learn the 'truth'.

There's an idea: they all seem to have secrets --will the truth set them free?

i don't think we really predicted the outcome. it was like they wrote it that way based on our hunch. then just kinda rolled with it.
