I cant remember what episode he is in but i know ive seen him as a redshirt. if you know post the screencap. this one is from LTDA.

Uh, according to www.lostpedia.com/Socks (http://www.lostpedia.com/Socks) , he's one of the Tailies-extras from TO48D who became an Other-extra after the kidnapping. It's subtle continunity on the Tailies plotline. :)

When I saw Cooper I said "I wonder if He's Jacob". Then when Richard sat down with Locke I said "I bet he's gonna tell him He's Jacob!" Ya Ya I keep looking for Jacob everywhere too! The "Who is Jacob" question is becoming the "Who shot J.R." mystery of Lost! I just hope we get to find out who "he" is before the end of the season!

I believe Jacob is a great man, the man the others have been waiting for, they just don't know who he is either. that is why they were excited to hear Locke was coming, because he is special, he is a possible "The One" that can control the island and assume the title of Jacob. We haven't seen Jacob, because Jacob does not exist yet IMO. Still figuring out how jacob's list works in here, but perhaps the previos Jacob had a list of what KIND of person is needed, and not really the names of people. Kind alike NEO (Matrix) as being the one, when there were many "The One" before him.

I dont think that guy's Jacob. He seems to be doing alot of Others grunt work, Like he was guarding thfake station. I dont think Jacob would do that, even as a ruse.

i don't think there is a real jacob, and if there is, he may be dead. i think ben is pulling a 'wizard of oz' scam on his fellow others.

Just curious, what makes you say that? Just because he does not appear to have aged? Because Alpert was in the camp when Locke and Ben went to see Jacob. If they wanted to talk to Alpert, it could have been a much shorter walk, and they wouldn't have had to have done all the playing around with flashlights, etc.
