Any theories on this? I would have figured that the Other's camp was pretty far from our losties beach paradise. I'm not sure on the timeline.....how long was it between Juliet leaving the tape and when Ben was listening to it in his tent?

Ben and Locke had the tent convo "3 days ago." If they'd fetched the tape from The Staff the same day Juliet taped on it (and they probably would be checking daily), then the SOONEST Juliet and Sun were there was 3 days previously.

I'm not sure I agree with that. Juliet and Sun could have been at the medical station longer than 3 days ago. If someone was checking for the recorder (daily, even), the Others were still on the move or camped a few days distance, right? It could have taken whomever fetched the tape time to catch up.

Looking back at the scene in Ben's tent...He so OBVIOUSLY put that tape recorder in that top drawer....practically BEGGING Locke to steal it and take it back to the Losties camp. The question is...If Juliette is a mole...Why go to all the trouble of setting Juliette up (triggering Claire's mysterious illness implant) as a hero and "friend" of the Losties?

Is Ben double crossing Juliette? Did he have someone "hidden" inside the Staff hatch when she recorded that Sun pregnancy report...who reported back to Ben that she said "And....I hate you"...after she turned off the recorder? Could that comment have upset Ben so much as to betray her?

Or is he just double-double crossing the Losties? Ugh....I gotta get some sleep!

accoring to lostpedia, juliet recorded her message at 6:00a on Saturday, December 14th (3 days ago in island time). The current day is Tuesday, December 21st (day sawyer kills cooper).
since the episode marked that scene of ben reviewing the tape as occuring 3 days before the current day, ben reviewed juliet's tape the same day she recorded it. it appeared to be early/mid afternoon. the others obviously had some way to get to the medical hatch and back to their camp quickly. i think a tunnel is a possible explanation. that's why that room was sealed off with such a thick door. beyond the room i think there may have been a tunnel to another hatch.
according to this timeline juliet's "week" with the losties is also up, since she had that conversation with ben either the night of December 12th (when Locke blew up the sub) or the next morning, December 13th. but that's a discussion for another thread.
