One thought I've definitely entertained tonight was that the Other's might really have been the good guys. Most of everything we've learned so far points to the Hosties being on the island before the Dharma Initiative. In this episode they are referred to as the natives by one of the active DI members in Ben's flashback. By the end of the episode we hear from the Hosties that the DI members were hostile towards them. From the Hostie point of view, it appears that they were there for a long time and the DI never made an attempt to make peace with them.

I'm finding that a lot of people on these boards are saying that the Hosties are evil mass murderers. From my perspective, it seems more plausible that the DI were in fact the bad guys in doing what they thought needed to be done for the greater good.

In reality we will probably find out like most of my theories that there were in fact a give and take, yin and yang, catch 22, and that they are both equally responsible, and the Hosties won out over DI because of their spiritual connection to the island. Where does everybody stand, give the hosties a chance? ( Bring on the evil things they've done:frown: )
