How cool was it to see Alpert and Tom sit there and do nothing when Locke was smacking down Mikhael? Ben even asked them for help and they did nothing.

That was SO hilarious and cool, not only because it showed Ben losing his leadership grip, but because Tom was actually sitting there drinking coffee while it happened. What a riot.

This scene was very interesting because it showed that the others may have already started to see Locke as their new leader after he brought Cooper's body back.
That or they just don't like Mikhail!

It seems that there's a reason that Mikhail lives as a hermit: everybody hates him! :D LOVED LOVED LOVED Tom drinking coffee in the background and watching! :biggrin: It was so great. And yeah, they totally have lost all faith to Ben. And when they find out that Ben shot Locke in the jungle, they're not going to very happy. :biggrin:

I don't think everyone hates Mikhail I think it was a revolt. Alpert and Tom and Alex have all decided that Ben should go and want Locke to take over. That's why Ben shot Locke -- he sees him as a threat to his deception (and thus power.)

I loved it too, and Locke punching people out isn't usually my favorite (I hated when he hit Charlie in Fire and Water). But Tom and Richard were absolutely priceless. They were clearly respecting Locke here.

The scene totally reminded me of when Hurley had finally had enought of Sawyers nicknames and wooped his butt while Jin stood in the background laughing! I can't remember what epi that was in. Both Scenes were awesome! They don't inject a lot of humor into the show but when they do it's truly funny!

Totally. I interpreted everyone's looks as, "oh... so you're taking *Locke* to see Jacob? When I've been on this stinking island for *how* long? Well then, Ben. You're on your own."
