Please try to keep the posts topicy and have something more to say besides "Look at what Kate did!!!!" or "OMG!!!". Enjoy!!! Kate731 05-16-2007, 09:06 PM Here we go! Looks like Jack has been plotting with Danielle- which is what the dynamite was for. Jack wants to put it in the tents Juliet will mark and blow up the others! Kind of murderous of him, but at least skulky, secretive Jack is gone, and butt-kicking Jack is back. I like him much better. I have this horrible feeling that we will not see anything on Locke this episode. AARGGHHHH!!! potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:09 PM GO JACK! :73happy: "Blow them all to hell!" 100% The Looking Glass! :eek2: Kate731 05-16-2007, 09:15 PM Well, as suspected, its a Charlie episode, with another flashback to his Driveshaft days. I wish they would explore times of the character's past lives sometimes. Naomi tells Charlie that a greatest hits album for Driveshaft was released after Charlie died- hence the episode title. Sayid is finally trying to find Danielle’s radio tower, but Juliet tells him that Ben is using a Dharma station called the looking glass to block all signals off the island, and that its underwater. Sayid says he knows where it is! Wow, and Desmond tells Charlie he had a vision of Claire and Aaron getting rescued by a helicopter, but only if Charlie dies. Hmm, not looking good for Charlie! ETA: oh wait, the flashbacks seem to coincide with Charlie making a list of the most significant moments of his life. I like that a lot actually! potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:18 PM Poor Charlie! He was all happy when Des told him that he saw Claire and Aaron getting into a rescue helicopter. But Charlie has to die, or there wont be any rescue... :frown: VGL 05-16-2007, 09:21 PM Rose and Bernard!!!!!! are tying knots in wiring. potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:21 PM Owwwww Charlie is going to die to save Claire and Aaron... :crybaby: Kate731 05-16-2007, 09:25 PM Des tells Charlie that he will drown in a hatch- the looking glass. Aah, the cable- the looking glass is connected to the beach cable! Flipping a switch to shut it off seems to be the suicide mission that Charlie may end up doing, but Jack says no one can. Rose and Bernard are back! …okay, for like one minute, but they’re back none the less! Karl is also back- to warn the Losties that the Others are coming sooner than they thought. Locked_In 05-16-2007, 09:27 PM Thanks for posting this stuff for us. I'm in western U.S. and appreciate the info. Any sign of Locke? potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:29 PM No Locke... :undecide: VGL 05-16-2007, 09:29 PM No sign of Locke. According to Ben, he "had an accident" 100% In flash back Charlie's brother is giving him the DS ring which is a family heirloom. They named the band after a relative Dexter S. (couldn't make it out) His brother told him to keep it safe and pass it on to his children. 100% Aaron touching Charlie's face... Kate731 05-16-2007, 09:36 PM Judging from the fact that Locke getting shot wasn't even in the "previously on Lost" segment, I doubt we will get any resolution on that this episode. :frown: Looks like Jack is going to let Charlie go on the suicide mission after all. We shall see what happens. potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:39 PM Charlie and Aaron.. *sobs* :sadwalk: Charlie, Claire and Aaron scenes are really sad and beautiful... VGL 05-16-2007, 09:44 PM so the shooters are Bernard, Sayid and Danille? Charlie is swimming out to turn off the looking glass Jack is to lead the rest of the Losties to the radio tower to await rescue. Kate731 05-16-2007, 09:45 PM Holy crap Nadia! Lots of people reappearing in the episode. Oh dear, poor Hurley, Charlie tells him hes too fat to fit in the boat. Okay, Sayid putting Jack in his place was pretty awesome. I really love Sayid, but I'm worried about him sticking around since hes always been so underused in the series. I have a feeling Charlie wont die, since it would be just about the least shocking plot development... they've been setting up for it all season. Princeex86 05-16-2007, 09:47 PM what happened with nadia? potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:47 PM Charlie loves Hurley. Hurley loves Charlie too, "dude"... They hug. :crybaby: Kate731 05-16-2007, 09:51 PM Charlie saves Nadia from being mugged. Oh god, Charlie’s list is for Claire, I actually want to cry. :frown: Number one is "The night I met you." Okay, now that ending was unexpected... there are people in the looking glass station, and Charlie is definitely alive. And yes! We are getting a preview. VGL 05-16-2007, 09:57 PM we're getting a preview! potrefirto 05-16-2007, 09:58 PM We are getting a preview! :eek2: 100% omfg... I´m afraid for Sayid´s and Jin´s life right now! VGL 05-16-2007, 10:02 PM Kate, yes, that was an unexpected ending. I wonder if those two have been wondering where the submarine is? Locked_In 05-16-2007, 10:03 PM Aw. Come on guys, I'm doing the pee pee dance. What happened? Kate731 05-16-2007, 10:06 PM Aw. Come on guys, I'm doing the pee pee dance. What happened? A lot of it is summed up it the thread as the episode went along, but I think this episode was mainly setting up for the finale. Basically, their plan is to blow up the Others when they come to the camp. The Charlie flashback was actually a nice idea- the 5 best moments of his life. I knew at the end when Desmond offered to go for Charlie that Charlie wouldn't let him. Well, actually I was getting worried for a second there, but Charlie came through. hugh_person 05-16-2007, 10:08 PM End state: Desmond is knocked out on the boat (that Karl came on to warn the 815ers) over the Looking Glass station. Charlie is captured by two women with guns, dressed like the others inside the Looking Glass, which apparently is NOT flooded. Sayid, Jin and Bernard stay behind to shoot/trigger the dynamite. Sayid tells Jack to man-up and actually be the leader. Everyone else is off to the radio tower. The Shapeshifter 05-16-2007, 10:10 PM Anyone want to fill me in on the preview? I'm in Canada, but my husband is vehemently anti-spoiler, so in fairness to him we always switch the channel before previews (I'm taping as well, so I can watch it tomorrow morning, but still...) As a Charlie fan, I have to say that I still don't know what to think about his fate - he's certainly still in present danger at the end. Would TPTB be cruel enough to give him that moment of reprieve and then kill him in the finale, or leave his fate a cliffhanger till February? They might, I suppose. Either way, if Charlie does die (I hope not!), they've certainly given him an amazing swan-song episode. It's been a long time since a TV show made me cry, but this episode certainly did. Dom played it brilliantly, I thought - exactly the right mix of emotion, implied fear, and grim determination. Meanwhile, I loved Sayid putting Jack in his place. And besides, my money's on Sayid as a better sniper than Jack (bad enough that they need to send Danielle, probably the best sniper they have, on the radio tower trek - understandable, though, since she's the only one who knows where it is!). Oh, and on a slightly shallower note... as a Dom/Charlie fan, can I say how much I LOVED the scene of Charlie waking up in bed with the two groupies, and then padding around the hotel suite in his underwear? xero 05-16-2007, 10:12 PM I posted this in the preview thread. The CTV promo: It shows a bunch of Others being blown up, and one of the others (Ryan is it?) yells "Its a trap". Then we see Rose and company standing somewhere, everyone looking back at their camp site...she tells Jack "there were suppose to be 3 explosions"; meaning that Sayid's plan did not go well, and I'm assuming him, Jin and Bernard are screwed. Kate731 05-16-2007, 10:14 PM Anyone want to fill me in on the preview? I'm in Canada, but my husband is vehemently anti-spoiler, so in fairness to him we always switch the channel before previews Ok, I'll spoiler font it here: We see Ben giving orders on his walkie talkie to attack, and we see the three shooters, but I forget which ones we see firing shots (must go back and watch tape again!) and see some Others getting blown away (can't tell which ones.) Then Rose, afraid, telling Jack that there should have been three explosions, aah, someone is in trouble. I'm really, REALLY scared that a character I love is going to die. Betsy 05-16-2007, 10:14 PM Why am I not surprised that Claire isn't in this episode? I wish they'd kill her off at this point......anyway, thanks for posting so that we know what's coming. I'm none too excited, I admit, but I do appreciate your posts! bigK 05-16-2007, 10:17 PM Claire IS in the episode. She has a sweet moment or two with Charlie  (*smooch*) VGL 05-16-2007, 10:19 PM Why am I not surprised that Claire isn't in this episode? I wish they'd kill her off at this point......anyway, thanks for posting so that we know what's coming. I'm none too excited, I admit, but I do appreciate your posts! Claire was in the episode. She was part of the group that went with Jack and Juliet to meet Danielle and hear about Jack's plan. Charlie came to essentially say goodbye to her. He had a tender moment with Aaron and then he kissed Claire. Hurley came to ask Claire if she needed help with Aaron on the trek to the radio tower. There was also the Flashback scene to the night of the crash when Charlie met Claire. Locked_In 05-16-2007, 10:21 PM Thanks. :broken_heart: I was hoping for, but not expecting information about Locke. gusthepolarbear 05-16-2007, 10:23 PM also charlie left his driveshaft ring in aarons crib Kate731 05-16-2007, 10:25 PM Thanks. :broken_heart: I was hoping for, but not expecting information about Locke. Aargh, I know eh? I mean, I love this show, but right now its just causing me a whackload of anxiety. I get to spend the next week worrying not only about Locke, but Charlie and the three shooters, Sayid, Jin and Bernard. :drowsy: Baileysdad 05-16-2007, 10:25 PM PLEASE...use spoiler fonts when discussing previews... Thank you... Egg Hunter 05-16-2007, 10:27 PM Hi, first post for me. There was also a brief scene with Ben looking rattled arriving back at camp. Walks past Alex who has bloody hands and is cutting a white rabbit up. Alex asks where Lock is, and Ben hands gun back to Alex. Alex runs to find Carl, who is hiding inthe forest near the other's camp. He wonders why she did not bring rabbit for him to eat. She tells him to take the outrigger and tell the Losties that the others are coming. Kate731 05-16-2007, 10:27 PM Just to clarify, should the shooter's identities be considered spoilers? We did learn who they all would be in this episode, but I want to be sure its okay to say who they are? Betsy 05-16-2007, 10:38 PM Thanks guys! That is good news, and I'm really sorry to be a bummer. I've promised myself to just refrain from posting until I can have a better attitude about the show.....I hate being such a debbie downer. Thanks again!! Locked_In 05-16-2007, 10:58 PM Aargh, I know eh? I mean, I love this show, but right now its just causing me a whackload of anxiety. :drowsy: I've started buying Tums in the giant economy sized bottle. If something doesn't turn up soon about Locke, I may send the bill for those pills to ABC! Kate731 05-16-2007, 11:03 PM I've started buying Tums in the giant economy sized bottle. If something doesn't turn up soon about Locke, I may send the bill for those pills to ABC! LOL, good idea! I never read spoilers, but I am so tempted to do so for the first time. I can't take this worrying about characters thing! The Shapeshifter 05-16-2007, 11:22 PM LOL, I'm already buying Tums in the economy sized bottle, even without Lost's help! (7.5 months pregnant here, so...) But the whole spoiler thing hasn't done anything good for my stress level these last several weeks. |
