My guess is Sun's and Kate's, because Juliet knows they are already wanted by the Others. I don't know who else would be suspected pregnant, maybe some random redshirt we don't realize is there with a boyfriend/husband.

I'm sure Kate is SERIOUSLY wondering about being pregnant by now.

I keep thinking she's going to have an extra quizzical look on her face or share a look with Sawyer, but...... not so much.

I think I would be more concerned if I were her - which makes me think she can't get pregnant. She doesn't seem to be the least bit concerned. Unless TPTB just want to drag out the surprises longer. Like all YEAR!

It just occurred to me that Juliet said that she marked three tents in preparation for the Others' raid. She was supposed to mark the tents of the women who were or might be pregnant. That's Sun, Kate, and... who's the third?

Maybe it's an arbitrary number, that and there's still lots of unnamed losties on the beach......

When was it confirmed Kate is pregnant? Is that speculation?

I don't think that specific number has anything to do with who's pregnant. Well, we already know Sun is pregnant. The 3 tents with the marks on them are going to have dynamites set in place. So when the others do go to those tents no is going to be there except for the dynamite.

You know what I found interesting is that they needed "three shooters." This instantly reminded me of the Kennedy assassination and the supposed three shooters in the plaza and on the grassy knoll.

BTW- anyone remember the X-files? There was a conspiracy group called the Lone Gunmen comprosed of three guys in obvious reference to the three shooters theory.

Must be an extra but if it was an extra surely there would be a big deal amongst the losties.

Which all strikes me as not very thought-through tactics. When the Others come to the first tent and get blown away, do you really think they are still going to go check out the other two tents after that ? The three boobytrapped tents only work when the Others split up and approach the tents simultaneously.. which is unpredictable for a tactician, so not to be taken into account.

But hey, it's a tv-show.. works fine for me. Loved this epi and am sure I will love the finale too.

Typically you wouldnt raid one tent and then came back for another. A raid like this would require three teams hitting each tent at the same time.

well i am sure the tents are close together. just draw the others in and pull the trigger. i dont think it will be a one tent at a time grab.

As for the cause for three...I also believe its an arbitrary number. It has nothing to do with who is or is not pregnant. They simply want to set the stage for the Others and make it look real

well what makes her unique is that she conceived off of the island so they know that. Still i can understand if they wanted to exam her further. I dont think 3 has anything to do with anything. its just the number of tents that will have dynamite in them

Maybe someone can explain exactly what kind of "samples" Juliet was suppose to collect. Did I miss it being mentioned? The only ones that would tell if a woman was pregnant would be blood and urine. How do you collect those samples without giving away what you are doing? And from every fertile woman in camp no less! Stick a person at night for a blood test and the tourniquet alone would wake them up. Or did she follow them into the privies and hope they sprinkled on the seat?
Maybe I'm lacking in imagination here. :confused: Should I assume she snuck into their tents and knocked both the woman and her partner out and got the blood samples that way? Or are there other kinds of "samples" that are easier to collect? Or were the writers deliberately vague because it would be so hard to collect such samples in real life?

I don't think it matters because it's unlikely that The Others know whose tent is whose anyway. They probably just picked the easiest tents to shoot.

I think that Kate figures that she would know if she was pregnant or not. Or maybe she has a specific *reason* these days to know that she's not pregnant...

I wondered about that. Any kind of "sample", if you an ultramodern one we don't know about, would require at least some *proximity* to the subject being tested.

I mean, they put a "device" on Claire that made her sick, something we don't know how it works, BUT they kidnapped her first.

The other alternative is that she's indeed following them to the "outhouse", or, whatever, and collecting urine from there. Ewwwww!

I think it's interesting they keep saying "tents" plural, when we've only had one confirmed pregnancy: Sun's.
It would be lame if Kate turned out to be pregnant, seeing as it seems so obvious.
