What is the significance of this station name? What happens when one passes
Through The Looking Glass? Combine the fact that people appear to arrive on the
island by submarine and what conclusions can we draw? Personally, it felt very
Matrix-like to me, when Morbius gives Neo the choice to go through the rabbit hole.
I think that was intentional, but I am not sure there's much more to it than a way the
writers were trying to evoke a feeling. Any interesting ideas?

It's probably nothing more than the name for the station.

^ ^ I don't think so.

In Alice In Wonderland, the whole story starts with her going through the looking glass.

Once Alice gets to the other side it's an alternate universe, if you will.

I think when Charlie passed "through the looking glass" he'll realize he's not where he thinks he is.

when it was mentioned during their preparations of their plans to contact Naomi's boat, the camera cuts to her and her reaction is suspicious. Indicating imo that she may either have lied about the other Oceanic 815 wreckage or is withholding vital information.

continuing my beliefs TPTB will stick to their "scientific/puesdo-scientific explanations" mantra, i do NOT believe there was seperate wreckage which then killed my belief the 'Looking Glass' is literally placing those who enter it in another timeline/dimension/universe, etc.

to answer the question though, i dont think this hatch's name has major significance but Im sure I will B proven wrong soon enough

yeh...otherwise they would just call it "underwater hatch". It means something. In the end run it might not mean a lot but it is symbollic on some level...
