Right before Charlie jumps, some kid seems to yell: "Desmond come on!". Could be. Could be not. Or could just be pointless. You never know...

really cool. Typically by this point i am well into my beer/wine so i am not as able to pick up on something like this. Of course there are tons of Desmonds but what a fun trick. It does make ya think. And even if it means nothing, its a fun little ploy.

I caught Desmond's name too... thought I was hearing something for a minute.

If you take that to mean our Desmond is at the pool, Charlie crosses into him twice before the island.

He also crosses Nadia and Hurley before the island.

Jack crossed Desmond once before the island as well.

Does Des cross paths with anyone else?

You could say there are plenty of other Desmond's in the world, but.......

It was kinda specific. Otherwise it could have been a "Bob" or a "Mark" or anyother name.

This was on purpose for us to catch.

Didn't hear it, but that certainly is interesting. I have absolutly no idea what it means, but fun none-the-less.

I missed this the first time-- nice catch! It does play into the whole of Lost's six-degrees-of-separation theme.
