How the hell did these guys get the outrigger from Losties camp to the buried cable? We know from previous eps. that the cable's location is a few hours walk from camp, and that's without carrying a heavy, awkwardly cumbersome boat? Rowing in the open sea is out of the question. They weren't wet, they weren't exhausted, and they launched from the beach straight out along the cable.
What gives?! I just chalked it up to 'suspension of disbelief', that the writers are just trying to move the show along and compact everything...

Maybe they used the one that Karl brought with him (which was right at their camp), and then took that on the water to where the cable was. Who knows, it's a TV show, not everything happens uber realistically

Yes, it's definetly the same boat Karl brought to the camp, but how did they trek that thing all they way over to the buried cable???

I thought it was a little awkward myself, but was certainly able to suspend my disbelief.

They didnt carry it they went by water, it you watch when Charlie is giving Hurley a hug and says I love you man Des is at the Boat wating for him so they can go in the water which would be twice as fast than walking, also it looked like when Des was finding the cable his PANTS are WET from getting in and out
