This served as a nice, direct, wrap up of all that's happened for the newbie. I'm going to recommend it to my ladyfriend, who is on the West Coast right now and a newly anointed Lost-er.

I thought it was interesting that they didn't mention Nikki and Paulo. Did people hate them or what?! Also interesting was that they were not as sophomoric as on the podcasts. TV is a different beast altogether. Too irreverant, and people turn against you.

All in all, a worthwhile recap.

It was less sophomoric because Damon was wearing pants.

I love their podcasts though! I like that they are just as off the wall as a lot of us.

They can't keep dodging the 'numbers' for much longer. Once dharma is dwelved into more, viewers are going to want to know that the writers haven't 'forgotten' about the numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42).

Of course, they mean little to LOST. Dharma's reason for being on the island is to save humankind and the numbers are the centrepiece of their science project. TPTB have rid of the numbers because they aren't essential or relevant to LOST as a story. They were explained via the 'Lost Experience' which was aimed towards those who were/are very interested in the mythology of dharma and the corporations that power them.

TPTB were correct in explaning thing through this - like Widmore corp, the history of Hanso, life extension projects, and the apocolypse of mankind - through the 'Lost Experience', but the 'numbers' were such an interesting and central part of Season 2 and Hurley's life that most viewers won't settle for a sudden disappearance of it.

My thoughts. I'm not a numbers-freak (due to me already knowing about them through the 'Lost Experience'), but many LOST fans still ponder about them since they haven't read about the 'Lost Experience', understandably.

The things that were explained through the Lost Experience were fine, but the numbers need to be brought into the show once last time and concluded in a similar fashion as in the Lost Experience (which was fantastic - that Alvar Hanso video was exceptionally well done).

Eh, it was ok. The announcer guy made it seem like a documentary, lol. I liked how they made it current and discussed the events in Greatest Hits a bit.

I loved Lost: The Answers, because it totally reaffirmed everything I have believed in since the beginning. And I especially loved that it was completely Jate-centric. (my favorite part of LOST)
