It just started now at 5:00 pm central. Jack's on a jet with a full beard. He sees something in a newspaper and tears it out. He's on the ground in his car when he pulls over on a bridge and is crying. He phones someone and then hangs up mid sentence. He then goes to the edge of the bridge to commit suicide when a car accicent happens behind him and then the flashback ends.

Wow it's pretty good. The two women are others in the looking glass. They radio Ben and ask who Charlie is. Ben tells Mickhail to hurry up and go to the looking glass. Michail asks Ben he thought the looking glass was flooded, to which Ben replies "I lied". The first two explosions go off but Jin misses his, and allows everybody to be caught.

I wonder what temple Ben was referring to when he told Richard to go there. I think Ben will probably kill Alex now that he knows that she betrayed him. I dont know why the others are so ruthless, that all they want to do is kill the losties.

I dont know what Ben means that the island is under attack, and that he is protecting it at all costs. Juliette tells Sawyer that they were building a runway back at the bear cages.

i am watching it as well... its the CTV Maritime feed on my satellite. so it is 6-8 pm and airing the whole thing, unlike the other CTV channels, because Idol starts at 8 pm, so for this channel, it can just air Lost straight through and not interrupt Idol

They are alive, haleluya. They only shot into the sand. Hurley comes with his van and runs over one other. Sawyer grabs a gun and has Tom at gunpoint. Tom surrenders but Sawyer kills him anyways.

I'm not gonna tell you what just happened but its a BIG reveal. Just make sure you watch the show. This is what a season finale should be, big reveals, shocking twists, and suspense. Smallville and Heroes screwed up compared to this.

One thing is Michail is hard to kill, He took a arrow to the heart and lives.

here it comes

After the signal is shut down Naomi's phone starts to get a signal. Ben is pleading with Jack to destroy the phone because Naomi is lying and the rescuers will come and kill everybody. Locke shows up and kills Naomi. He has the gun pointed at Jack and tells him to give him the phone. Meanwhile its starts to ring, and Locke warns Jack one last time. Jack is defiant and answers the phone. Locke puts down his gun and leaves into the forest. The man on the phone comes on and asks where they are. Jack tells them and they say they have located them and are coming to rescue them.

It then jumps to another Jack flashback, where the big reveal is. It's not a flashback, it's the future. He's off the island and back home and he is miserble. He pleads on the phone for someone to meet him. It's Kate, and she wants nothing to do with him. He tells her he's been looking non stop for the island, and wants to go back.


The end.

Simply brilliant.

Who ever was in charge of broadcasting at CTV should be fired. For American crap idol they postpone the ending. You'll be pissed off you had to wait. It's awesome.

Well.... if you MUST know.... because you are just so impatient :p

here are the MAJOR SPOILERS, too much happens to give a full recap.


1) Charlie dies (see below)
2) Naomi is not who she claims to be
3) The last scene of the episode shows a flashback (or is it a flashforward? help me out here) of jack calling someone and meeting up with them at the airport at night.... the person gets out of the car.... and it's kate. he goes on to say things like "we weren't supposed to leave" and "we need to go back"
4) Bernard, Sayid, and Jin are OK - Hurley saves the day
5) After Charlie turns off the switch, a video transmission comes in.... it's Penny. Charlie talks to her, tells her Desmond is there, they are survivers of flight 815. Penny has no idea who Naomi is or what boat Charlie is talking about. Then mikhail sets a grenade off from outside the station and floods the room Charlie is in. He drowns.
6) Jack beats the crap out of Ben
7) Rousseau and Alex meet face to face, Ben tells Alex it's her mother
8) Locke sees/ talks to Walt
9) Locke shoots Naomi in the back
10) Jack speaks to someone through Naomi's phone - he tells Jack they can track them and to stay put, they're coming to rescue them.

I don't mean to nitpick, but you misunderstood. The password is a series of numbers, and each number makes a musical note. Together the sequence is the melody for "Good Vibrations" by The Beach Boys. Bonnie said that the man who programmed the code must have been a musician. There's no reference there to Charlie being the one who programmed it.

Just wanted to clear that up. ;)

Charlie dies a hero's death by closing the door to the chamber he's in (that is about to be flooded due to Mikhail's grenade), thus saving the Looking Glass and Desmond, who is on the other side of the door as Charlie drowns inside.

The show won't be as good without Charlie. I'll miss him but I'm relieved he was at peace when he died.

I have seen the ending, but it doesn't involve Charlie or a radio. The only radio that Jack has is the one that he takes from Ben, which links to Tom and the Others back at the beach. However this is not in the game-changer scene...?

Oh, unless you mean the radio in Jack's car! But I didn't hear anything to do with Charlie. Unless I missed something, but if I did I would say it was pretty subtle.

I didn't notice a song playing on the radio in Jack's car (during the game-changer), but I can say with almost certainty that...

there's no way the song Charlie was singing in the LG could make it back to the "real world". He only sings a few lines of it and it's not that audible or clear.

The ONLY way it COULD be a possibility (though extremely slim at best) is if Desmond happened to overhear it, memorized it and then later on has someone record it. But I really don't see this as a possibility. Sorry, I hate to burst your bubble. :frown:

It's blaring as Jack pulls up to a funeral home. It sounds like a Nirvana song, but perhaps this is the song you're refering to? I couldn't really make out the lyrics all that much, and it was sort of hard to make out what Charlie was singing (other than "You All Everybody"), but MAYBE they are one and the same. I just don't see how it could be possible though, since it would require Desmond to hear and memorize it, which doesn't really seem likely...especially considering the tension in the LG as Desmond is hiding...

I didn't understand what you meant before. The last scene we see of Charlie is him peacefully drowning in the water. Desmond is on the other side of the glass. We don't see either of them again after this occurs.

regarding Charlie's body..

You see Charlie floating lifeless in the chamber as Des looks on. You don't see anything after that, but I guess Des will put on the scuba gear and grab Charlie, and bring him to the surface for the funeral. Also Des brought Charlies list down with him, so I wonder what condition it is in...I seriously doubt he survives that. But you never know, this is Lost...

If I was Charlie I would have tried fitting out the port hole that was wiiiiiide open and swimming to the surface. Guess he wouldn't fit? I kept hoping he'd try though... lol

So it's possible that Charlie survives. Unless, they show us a body, right?

If you would of read my other post i didnt want to spoil Charlies death. Or that once he shut the power off he received an incoming message. He answers it and it's Penny. He asks her if she is on the boat, and she replies that she doesnt know what he's talking about. That's when Michail knocks on the window from the outside and sets off a grenade, flooding Charlies compartment. He closes the door to save Desmond and writes a note on his hand to show Desmond. It said Not Penny;s Ship.

Des hears Pennys voice on the radio, so he comes running. Before this you see Mikhail grinning out of the port hole with a grenade. So Charlie closes the chamber door to stop the station from flooding... His final act is writing "Not Penny's Boat" on his hand to show Des because Penny does not know who Naomi. Is. The room is filling with water and Des and Charlie share a moment, then he smiles, and drowns. He is just floating there.... pretty much dead.

Water comes rushing inside the room from the porthole that was blown open. As it fills the room, he stands there, ready to accept his fate. He writes a message on his hand to Desmond, who is looking through the window on the other side of the door that Charlie closed & locked to keep the water in, saying "not penny's boat". then he is completely submerged in water, they touch hands through the glass... Charlie is quickly fading... he floats backwards and does the "father, son, holy spirit" cross on his chest... and then he is motionless. that is all that we see.
