Jin, Sayid and Bernard were still ALIVE!!! Yay!!!! I really, really thought they were goners. I was along for the ride from 8 to 10, holding on for dear life.

It was definitely a big sigh of a relief moment!

I knew they were alive. Killing that many main characters without the proper buildup & drama is just stupid & I think LOST is trying to avoid stupid for fear of losing more fans/getting more criticism.

I knew they weren't dead because you don't kill off major character off screen.

I didn't really believe they were dead, but the confirmation was a HUGE relief to me, since I really love all three of those characters. I was practically hyperventilating and telling myself "ok: Locke must have come up and saved them- he has a gun now, yeah that must be it." And then we saw Tom still on the walkie, so I was thinking "ugh... ok, Locke has him at gunpoint... off camera!"

Of course my rational turned out to be completely wrong, but it still kept me from going insane on that painful commercial break!

I was hoping so hard that they weren't dead. I was holding my breath after hearing those 3 shots over the walkie. Joy is the only word I can use to describe the feeling when we see that they were okay. Pure Joy, I love Sayid and was in a terrible state when I heard those shots. Thank Goodness they are okay.

I had hoped they lived but still wasn't too sure. So I had a few moments of total panic.

Yeah, I was a little overwhelmed when I thought those guys were just gone, like that. And it was all on Jack's shoulders.

What I was wondering, is why they did not kill them? Were they also upset with Ben like many of the Others seemed to be? They were sick of killing people for no reason?
