Hey Drew, I know you don't come here, but I'm posting this on the off-chance that you one day do.

Firstly, I'd like to say thank you for your input on the show last season. Your episodes were the most consistent of all the writers. The Man From Tallahassee and The Man Behind the Curtain, in particular, were the standouts of the season, aside from the Finale; both were fine examples of what riveting, captivating and astonishing storytelling should be. You seem to have an ear for excellent dialogue and an eye for metaphor and subtle symbolism. As a fellow writer, your work is consistently inspirational.

Secondly, I'd like to wish you the best of luck for "Cloverfield". The trailer, in short, was nothing less than mind-fryingly exciting. Perhaps the most exciting bit being the sight of yourself, Bryan Burke and J.J. Abrams in the credits. Whilst little is known about the movie at present, I think the fact that it has generated so much buzz based on the "from the people who make LOST" notion that accompanies its name, says so much in itself. We all know its going to rock. We all know the script will be awesome. We all know its gonna fry our brains. We all can't wait.

... And we can't wait for LOST's fourth season either. And that's testiment to the quality yourself and your colleagues produced towards the end of season three. Forget about the lack of an EMMY nomination for Best Drama - you guys were robbed, but it doesn't matter, because the EMMYs are a shambles now anyway. Just focus on the fact that you guys have made a hell of a lot of fans very, very excited about the show's future. That's all that really matters, at the end of the day.

Thank you again.
