TabbyRasa 02-14-2008, 10:30 PM No words...yet I am posting...it's beyond awesome...:eek2: Gonna take way too long to process and analyze... ;)
100%
Oh..and halfway through...can't count how may times I shouted "Holy crap!"... ;)
ozieozwall 02-14-2008, 11:05 PM Delicious! After 3 years of Lost we finally get something really tasty.
pacejunkie 02-14-2008, 11:08 PM What is it about the future that makes the Losties HOTT? First Charlie, now Sayid, man these guys clean up well. Future!Sayid was breathtakingly gorgeous.
palomino_grl78 02-14-2008, 11:09 PM Definitely one of the best. This season is so mind blowing already 3 epis in. My mind is blown for sure.
adr55555 02-14-2008, 11:15 PM Lost is on a roll!!! I'm so grateful that the ABC suits allowed an end date. We are getting a lot of information super fast. Can't wait until next week.
Lost_In_NJ 02-14-2008, 11:15 PM WOW! I am still processing this fantastic epi, it was amazing! And talk about hotties! Hubba hubba, Sayid!!! Double WOW!!! Loved it.
maryrovr 02-14-2008, 11:16 PM This was so great !
It's like a circus hall of mirrors or a fun house, every turn is a new view
or new idea.
Already excited about next week !
lost_gypsy 02-14-2008, 11:22 PM Bravo! New information. New mysteries. Moving forward.
erin1679 02-14-2008, 11:37 PM Loved the episode! Holy crap, what an ending. i did not see that one coming! My head is spinning!
wolffootball37 02-14-2008, 11:44 PM as a straight male, even i was saying sayid looked good! ;) Great episode! I REEAAAAALLLYY wish i hadnt read spoilers for this one, because i missed out on the biggest twist!!!
TabbyRasa 02-15-2008, 12:09 AM Love it for way too many reasons to detail...
It was phenomenal.
Guinevere 02-15-2008, 12:23 AM Tabby said it best - phenominal!! I, too, still haven't processed everything I saw and heard and I think that Lost did it again. Unbelievable! Kudos to Naveen Andrews!! :clapping: He looked HOT in the flasforwards and, while I've always thought he was good looking, it just wasn't something I had an opinion on one way or the other. As Locke said in "Orientation", "We're going to have to watch that again!".
TabbyRasa 02-15-2008, 12:31 AM Guin...I absolutely love your enthusiasm...and understand it...I don't see how LOST can get any better ;) but I am confident that it will....
100%
Oh, yeah, thank you Guin for reminding me!
Naveen = God.
Well, not really, but YKWIM. ;)
sanfrannan 02-15-2008, 12:58 AM This is just the most awesome show ever! How do they do it? What a really great episode--again. Three in a row!.
I loved everything from Daniel to Miles to Locke to Ben to Sayid to Kate to Sawyer to all the exciting plot developments. I loved the helicopter flying away from the island. How emotional and beautiful was it? I love Kate and Sawyer together, talking TO each other, acting like they cared about each other. Loved the shot of Sawyer's boots from under the bed.
Loved Sayid's FF. How much can we take in one episode? What a shocker! Wow--that one's going to take some time to assimilate. And I agree with everyone else about how fantastic Sayid looked. He sure does clean up nice. Like Charlie, and even Jack. And I can't forget my first love, Sawyer, the most beautiful of all, even dirty and scruffy. Bring on the prettiness!
Bring on more Lost, as fast as possible. please!
lostmio 02-15-2008, 01:10 AM This was the perfect valentine's day episode, because I heart everybody in it!
Mostly, I heart Sayid and Daniel and Lapidus.
Everyone else was a bonus.
lockesmithe 02-15-2008, 01:41 AM I guess I really loved this episode. I started giving my thoughts on the "rate it" thread, and I rambled on and on. By the time I was done listing what I had liked about the show, I regretted giving it only a 9. I spared "rate it" thread readers the agony of even a longer post as other scenes and shots I enjoyed came to mind. Could have reviewed the episode using only two words--great job.
engulfthemanatee 02-15-2008, 02:50 AM I wasn't expecting a ton from this episode, based on the spoilers (which were cool but not life changing), but I was quite impressed with this one. As usual, execution is everything with this show, and Naveen is such a fun actor to watch. His acting great on the Island, but he really shines in his FBs, and now his FFs. And Miles is quite the firecracker isn't he? I loved Hurley's quip about the "new Sawyer."
A totally solid episode verging on greatness. I gave it an 8/10. This season is off to a great start, and I'm sure that it'll hold for the rest of it. Lost really has taken on a new life with this whole knowing-the-endgame thing the writers have going. I can only imagine how past shows like The X-Files and Alias could have benefitted from such an unprecedented deal...
LaLaManfr0 02-15-2008, 07:42 AM I feel like this season was hit with some projectile awesome between episodes 2 and 3.
403 WAS AMAZING.
(My mom disagrees -- she is very confused hahaha. But I told her that's why she has to keep watching!!!)
Blue Coral 02-15-2008, 09:43 AM I really liked this episode. The mystery and the twists and turns reminded me of Season 1 for some reason. It makes you hungry to know more and what exactly happened when the "Oceanic 6" left the island.
Lockefan 02-15-2008, 10:58 AM LOVED IT, of course! Here are some thoughts I'm having, thus far into the season:
I think the Oceanic Six are:
Jack (confirmed)
Kate (confirmed)
Hurley (confirmed)
Sayid (I knew it, and confirmed last night)
and...(drum roll, please...)
Claire
Aaron
I think it has to be Claire and Aaron because part of Desmond's flash was that Claire and Aaron would get on a helicopter and leave the island. If Charlie did what he did, that would happen. Now, granted, they could have left the island but never left the ship or something, but my bet is that the remaining two of the Oceanic Six are Claire and our little Aaron.
As for Hurley's hallucenations...are they? We know Jacob's cabin was not all in Hurley's head because Locke and Ben went to, or were summoned by, the same cabin, or by Jacob in the cabin. Apparently, the cabin kinda sorta moves around, as Jacob seems very poltergeisty, so maybe his energy zaps the cabin around, and the circle of ash around it signifies where it is or has been or SOMETHING. And in "The Economist", Locke was sure the cabin's location was one place, but he led his group there and: no cabin. So, it's not just Hurley! And apparently that scary dude that visited Hurley in the psych ward and said he was from Oceanic was real, too, as we just saw him in flashbacks with Naomi, remember? As for Charlie, he could have been a hallucenation, but it is possible that Charlie's spirit really appeared to Hurley. One never knows on LOST...
I think it is interesting that they are all so tormented when they return (although, apparently Jack was not at first, that is also interesting...what happened later?) and they all resort to their absolute worst potential: Hurley has a breakdown, Jack becomes an alcoholic like his father, and my beautiful Sayid turns back on his cold, inhuman side, big time, as he goes all the way to being a killer...but then again, we don't know what Ben is holding over him, but it is something to do with protecting the other LOSTies left on the island, so Sayid is basically being blackmailed into what he is doing. Still, he has had to resort to doing the kind of acts he swore he'd never do anymore. They are all tormented souls "off island".
...Tormented yet GORGEOUS, in Sayid's case. :14happy:
myfavoriteleaf 02-15-2008, 11:52 AM Loved it! Great the way it's moving along!
Locke and Load 02-15-2008, 12:17 PM LOVED IT, of course! Here are some thoughts I'm having, thus far into the season:

In regards to your thoughts on who the 6 are,
I'm not so sure they would count Aaron as one of the Oceanic Six. Technically he wasn't alive (in the sense of being born) at the time of the crash, and I don't want to get into abortion jargon and whatnot, but I think when they say the Oceanic Six, they mean six passengers on the plane. Perhaps Claire is just 1 of them and Aaron kind of goes along with her.
Oh, and I really liked the episode. Was really happy to see Sayid doing some pretty hardcore stuff again as opposed to being locked up in restaurant pantries being tortured. Much better than last week's flashes with characters we didn't even know.
Lockefan 02-15-2008, 12:40 PM In regards to your thoughts on who the 6 are,

I gotta say that I totally disagree about...Aaron. I think he definitely WOULD count as one of the six, if it turns out that he is rescued. He was on the plane as a fetus in his mother's uterus, survived the crash, and he is now most definitely a little person. Like I said, I think Claire and Aaron get "rescued", or at least, they take off from the island in a helicopter, because that is what Desmond saw happen in his flash (and, as we all know, "you can't change it!" *lol*...except that you can, by altering any slight thing...but in this case, Charlie did do what he set out to do, so I'm thinking that Claire and Aaron depart in a copter...whether they crash right back down again upon takeoff is another story, but my speculation would be that they end up being two of the Oceanic Six).
And yes, it was great to see Sayid so prominently featured, but it was very sad to see him apparently forced into doing things that he never, ever wanted to do again. He is apparently doing these things to protect his "friends", the LOSTaways still left on the island, so he is doing bad things for good reasons, which is a classic theme on LOST, the whole situational ethics THING. God, I love this show!
lostlocke 02-15-2008, 01:12 PM I love that the story seems to be progressing very quickly. Thank you writers!! Although I know there is much more to the story, I feel like we are getting alot of information this season.Once again also, I have to say how much I LOVE Sayid!
Love the guy, plus he's smokin hot!
lostnewfan 02-15-2008, 01:27 PM I love the episode. I am so happy to see Sayid off the island:biggrin: This episode have everything...Suprises, shock..Wow what can I say.
This is the craziest theoy ever coming up. Are they really on a island?
What's up with the passport that Sayid found of Ben's? is it possible that Ben had access on and off of this place? Could Richard be the spy on the ship that Ben found out about?
Could Locke be in the Coffin? was he on Ben's list that Sayid was hired to shoot? I think Locke was the boss in Berlin, for some reason.
I think Ben has something on Sayid, a big secret, in order for Sayid to be vulnerable to work with him, he's not doing it willingly. I mean this is a guy who tortured and dispised Ben on the island. Maybe Sayid found out there is more to Ben (the passport I mean how can you get a passport on an island--and his picture showed Ben as he is now.
I also think now that Ben could also be with Kate(the guy waiting for her at home)
Ocienic 6, excluding Ben cause he wasn"t on the plane
Sayid, Kate, Jack, Hurley, Desmond and Locke.
Lostie1180 02-15-2008, 02:25 PM Absolutely loved it. Great story development and lots of funny lines. It definitely left me wanting more. :woohoo:
JPolarBear 02-15-2008, 02:47 PM AWESOME!!! What a huge reveal at the end!! And the way they sneak up on it little by little then BAM!! Best line: Sayid saying "The day i trust Ben is the day i sell my soul"..Well he sure did! All the passports, diff. country's money..Ben goes 'off island' all the time.
Steve_Of_Yore 02-15-2008, 03:03 PM This was definitely one of my top 5 favorite episodes. The twists at the end made me stand up and look around the room. In reply to what is being discussed about who the remaining members of the Oceanic 6 are:
If my memory serves me correctly, we never seen a flash of Claire and Aaron getting into the helicopter, when for other flashes we (the viewers) see them. Is it possible he just told Charlie that to make him flip the switch?
My only issue is that it looks like next week will not go any further into these story lines, which means we will have to wait 2 weeks until we learn what happens next with Sayid.
summerdreams 02-15-2008, 03:10 PM I loved this episode! Sayid has always been my favorite so I was thrilled to see him for the entire episode! Yaaay!
Lost is on a roll! This is the most exciting season ever! Awesome!!!!
chelle68 02-15-2008, 04:11 PM The episode was great!! I kept saying.... "I didn't see THAT coming".... the twist with Sayeed and Ben is going to be so much fun to watch unfold.... the forward flashes are awesome.... Yay!! Can't wait to watch it again this evening...
The Shepherd 02-15-2008, 04:55 PM I feel like I have had my jaw to the floor from the greatest hits episode of season 3 through last night. This show is so well written!!! Amazing and last night's was brilliant. The flash-forwards have me glued to the screen.
Buck Dharma 02-15-2008, 06:00 PM Yet another absolutely killer episode! So many twists and turns, many of which we never saw coming. Anyone else get the feeling that the rest of the final two seasons will be just like this? We're all definitely in for a real treat from here on out! Kudos to TPTB for keeping us all glued to the tube and panting for more, more, more!
DrUrbino 02-15-2008, 07:23 PM I loved it, another terrific episode, this season is becoming on of the best so far in my opinion. I thought Naveen Andrews performance was terrific and it was well penned... really good dialog and character interactions. A lot more questions, however the mysteries seem to be very close to revealing. I cant' wait til next week. :)
entil2001 02-15-2008, 07:43 PM I'm loving this season of "Lost"! I think the decision to break out of the "flashback" mode, expanding the complexity of the narrative, has helped them approach the final stretch of the series with renewed enthusiasm. I was a bit worried that the long hiatus would make it hard to get back into the show, but as they say, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder". Coming back strong and energized certainly helps as well.
Lost 4.3: "The Economist" (http://entil2001.com/series/lost/season4/lost4-3.html)
Overall, this episode continues to shed light on future events, while placing the characters in the perfect position for an explosive conflict on the island itself. The character study in this episode is surprising, and there is a palpable sense of foreboding. The momentum is building, and the anticipating is growing with it.
LaLaManfr0 02-15-2008, 09:45 PM This is the craziest theoy ever coming up. Are they really on a island?
It's funny you should mention that, as one of my theories goes something kind of like this ...
In the very last episode of the very last season, in the very last minute, we see Jack and whoever is trailing behind him emerge from the jungle, as they have finally reached the other side of the island. A small 'Oh my God' escapes his mouth as the camera gets a close-up of his face.
We then see the backs of all the remaining survivors, as the camera zooms out to reveal the Disney castle on the horizon. 'When You Wish Upon A Star' plays in the distance and a sparkly rainbow thing is drawn by a mysterious invisible hand behind the castle.
-BABUM- LOST.
-end-.
Just kidding.
Hahaha, no, in all seriousness, you do ask a very good question. Are they really on an island?
We will just have to wait and find out :].
benmanrocky 02-16-2008, 12:07 AM Great episode, the best ending to any episode yet!!!

I absolutely agree as usual.
Corey Chaos 02-16-2008, 11:15 AM -the ending. Everything about it; don't want to start naming specifics.
-Sayid on-island. I agreed with everything he had to say.
-Sawyer's talk with Kate. Finally, she's getting some sort of "talk" for acting like such a teenage girl.
-Faraday's experiment was aww-inducing. And when he went to hug Charlotte.
-some great lines, as well...(Ben, Hurley, Sawyer, Daniel....the list goes on.)
Darbi 02-16-2008, 10:21 PM The writers remembering that Sayid/Naveen are made of awesome, and it's always a good thing when the character is helping to drive the story forward....check.Benry still owns everything....check.Me...a very pleased viewer...double check. ;)Great episode. Miles. Call me with your angry self. I can help you with that. :biglaugh:
dampfnudel 02-17-2008, 12:40 AM Needless to say, it was the best episode so far this season, better than most of last season's episodes. At last, I'm seeing the pieces moving toward each other to complete the puzzle.
kayden 02-17-2008, 06:17 AM Needless to say, it was the best episode so far this season, better than most of last season's episodes. At last, I'm seeing the pieces moving toward each other to complete the puzzle.
I totally agree!
Kaïsa 02-17-2008, 09:43 AM Amazing episode, best of the season so far! Sayid's FF story was basic secret agent stuff, but very well written and matched perfectly with the storyline on the Island. There were so many great scenes, Ben's secret room, Sayid and Ben as prisoners and later in the FF reveal, Faraday's experiment, Sawyer and Kate, Sayid seeing the Island from the helicopter...I also loved how in the beginning Sayid shot the man in cold blood at the golf course, then walked away and the sprinklers started to work. A cool, quick, violent introduction to Sayid's post-Island life, just like a cold shower.
chuny 02-17-2008, 11:10 AM One the best! great story development regarding sayid and ben
Retinend 02-17-2008, 02:49 PM I thought that this episode was fairly expositionary (if that's a word, which it isn't) with lots of little clues spread around and nothing concrete (although the slow-time on the island was very a very interesting development). That was what I thought until that incredible reveal at the end. I'm really liking the flash-forwards now.
jheri 02-18-2008, 12:22 AM I like the flash forwards too. The show is more intrigueing to me then ever before.
Kaz4596 02-18-2008, 03:38 PM A terrific episode, it was great to see Sayid have an important role in the future and I can't wait to find out more about him working for Ben. That ending was one of the best ever! :)
miawallace 02-18-2008, 04:27 PM Best of the season so far.
monkeypoo 02-19-2008, 09:02 AM Definitely the best of the season so far!! I too am loving the flash-forwards and I like Sayid now much more than i did before, it was interesting to see him in a different light. I can't wait to see how it all develops!! How exciting!! xx
prospero 02-19-2008, 02:52 PM WOW! Sayid is the coolest. Hurley: I saw that break dance move you did to break that guy's neck.
Ben in the future with a list and cool glasses.
Cool Retro German assassin chic.
Wow!
Loved it!
LostGirl68 02-23-2008, 12:53 AM I loved this sayid episode! he was yummy!:o
judib80 02-26-2008, 11:48 AM I love Sayid so any episode where he is featured is tops on my list. Great episode, nice twist at the end.
How long do I have to be a member here before I can rate the episodes?
shootingstar 03-08-2008, 06:06 PM I love Sayid so any episode where he is featured is tops on my list. Great episode, nice twist at the end.
Those are my favorite episodes as well.
This was a fantastic episode. I loved it. Great twist at the end. And we received a lot of information.
How long do I have to be a member here before I can rate the episodes?
I think that you'll be able to vote once you've been a memeber for a few days and made a few posts :)
misty nichole 03-11-2008, 10:13 PM I thought it was fantastic! What a shocker!
Awesome episode! Sayid really rocks on the island and off it. Never saw that twist coming.
