I always thought that a general theme is what comes around goes around....Did we not just witness Kate telling a new group that they were the good ones? Much like the Others determined they were "good"

while our group of losties havent done the "bad" things the others have done....(while they have done their share of bad things as most have killed another human for the greater good).I jsut thought it came full circle...

Did anyone think that Claire and Rose's conversation was just a little too cheery considering there was a girl with a knife in her back laying nearby?

Likewise, Bernard and Hurley seemed a little too giddy; Hurley having run a guy down with the van and all (wasn't Juliet digging his grave?)

These weren't the first "inappropriate" responses we've seen - is it for the sake of moving the story along, or something else?
