I think that was all... Kinda glad it was only a couple. He called more people by their names than nicknames. It gets too corny when he's dropping them left and right.

Did not hear Scotty, but I think my local affiliate cut off the first few seconds of that scene. Grr. Sawyer is not the same person since he killed Cooper. I think the nicknames will drastically decrease. It's not humor time anymore.

I am very very very miffed about how mopey sawyer is. It is to be expected, but i feel like im losing my fave character.

I LOVED that Sawyer called Hugo 'ese'--it was my favorite moment of the episode!

Sawyer's knowledge of and references to pop culture never fail to impress, but who knew that he had mastered L.A. chicano male street slang, and felt comfortable using it? Who knows where Sawyer's been in his checkered past?

Maybe in the next episode he'll call Hurley 'vato.' Or maybe 'cabron' if he's feeling irritated.

My husband, who IS Mexican and uses these slang terms all the time, wasn't as impressed as I was. I've never heard that kind of language on TV before, but then I don't watch a lot of TV.

He's mopey because he just killed the real Sawyer...like, 2 days ago or whatever. He's still affected by it. He'll recover.

Did anybody happen to watch it with closed captioning turned on? Did he really say that? To me it sounds as if he just stammers a little.

The Sawyer we all know and love is, unfortunately, dead, say hello to James Ford. Fewer nicknames more real names, less humour more serousness. Of course I would love to be wrong, I guess only time will tell.
