I noticed that my DVR is not set to record Lost this week. According to my guide information on Feb 7, the episode that will be shown is "the begining of the end" also known as season 4 episode 1 also known as the episode that was shown just last week.

I realize there is a writers strike and I realized it was effecting Lost production but someone PLEASE tell me that the show is not going into reruns ONE SHORT EPISODE INTO THE SEASON!!!

I gave up the expectation of the promised 16 week uninterrupted run of lost but one episode then reruns is rediculous.

Well, your DVR is right and wrong... there will be a rerun next Thursday - at 8 pm EST, but right after that, we'll get a new episode. :) It looks like it'll be like that in the next couple of weeks, too.

PS tip on setting the DVR, never let the wife do it unless you want to turn your home into a hysterical mess.

Set it up as a series that only records new episodes.
