First, I thought Miles saying "it's not even Naomi, it's just meat" was really weird. I might have the quote a little off, but wtf.

Second, after he gets on the satphone, an english-accented lady came on, and she sounded just like Naomi!

Just sayin.

He said "It's not Naomi, it's just me".
Which is odd enough, but way less than 'meat'. He probably doesn't want to be around the body anymore, he's had enough of those.

I don't recall the Sat phone convo, but Charlotte's also a Brit, so was it her?

I heard "its just meat" too. And I think I understand why.

This character is able to communicate with the dead (or so it seems), so as he sees it, once someone dies, their bodies is just a hunk of useless meat, because the essence of who they are is still around and he can talk to it.

I believe her name was Regina and, to me, she sounded just like Naomi.

I also heard 'meat'.

I think that nails it exactly. Many people deal with death much easier when they seperate the body in front of them from the person they knew. In the end, it is just meat. Who the person was wasn't the body they walked around in.

Also heard "meat".

This is a perfect response from someone who deals with trapped souls on a regular basis. The container is dead, but the soul is very much alive, especially in his business.

The woman on the sat phone Regina, was played by Zoe Bell, best known for her work in Quentin Tarintinos part of Grindhouse, Death Proof. She was listed in the cast for the episode and doesn't appear anywhere, plus she is a Kiwi so the accent could fit. I'm 99% sure it was Zoe Bell playing the part. and since Fisher Stevens who plays Minkowski is also listed in the credits and doesn't actually appear it all works together.
