I found it interesting that he made a reference to that. I wonder if they are planning on bringing him back on the show. If so how are they gonna explain his aging issue?

And by the way, Sawyer;s comment about Walt being like a giant was probably a reference to Twin Peaks.;)

I remember reading an interview with either Damon Lindeloff or Carlton Cuse that pretty much said they knew the actor was going to grow faster then they could shoot the episodes and that they had a plan for this and that we needed to trust them. So I am awaiting further details before I can completely trust them. I mean the kid is a tower now.

It's one of those somewhat annoying nods to real life in which the child actor grew 4 inches in the 4 years since filming began.

No, I don't think it is.

There's clearly some time issue going on. I think Walt's height gain/age will be addressed in time. Damon and Carlton mentioned years ago that they had the situation under control and the subject was brought to our attention via dialog on the show tonight.

Have faith. =]

I agree, It was too deliberate to be an in-joke.

I have always felt that time moves at a different rate on this island than off. Walt has been off the island. We know he has been on Hydra Island because the mobisode confirmed he had spent time in room 23. We saw him leave with Michael, but don't know how far he got. Theoretically, (my theory anyway), if he had never left the island, he would still be small.

Like MPMom said, I think that time passes differently on the Island than it does in real life. TPTB have also said that we would see more of Michael and Walt this season...I mentioned this in another thread a few weeks ago, but I was envisioning a conversation occuring between Jack and Michael when Michael appears back on the Island (this is totally speculation, Michael may not come back to the Island)

Jack - "Michael?!?! What are you doing here? Are you with them? We watched you leave with Walt in the boat almost 2 weeks ago!!"

Michael - "What? What the hell are you talking about Jack?? 2 weeks ago? We've been gone for almost 2 years Jack!!"

This is just a wild and crazy thought that I had...could Abbadon be Walt (all grown up)? If it's true that time travel is involved in the show, I guess it is possible. Someone give me some feedback.

I don't know about this because:

Locke said Walt was the one who told him to kill Naomi, so why would Walt tell Locke that and then tell Naomi there were no survivors and send her to the island?

i'm thinking that Future Walt is using The Shinning to communicate with Locke of the Past! it wouldn't be the first time a character had an opportunity to alter fate. i just hope Walt doesn't mount a rescue effort and finds the island, only to take an axe in the chest courtesy of jack nicholson.
