Ok, kudos to the team for this actor who gives me the serious heebie jeebies!

He claims to be a lawyer for Oceanic Airlines.

That to me translates into "security" system, and makes me immediately think of Smokey.

There just seems to be no way to consider that this entity is human. Thus far, the writers haven't used any names that would make a big point of saying: hey notice this creepy guy with a creepy name? yeah, that's the place of destruction.

I think throughout the seasons we've been led by the hand to notice names starting with John Locke, Rousseau, and then Hume.

I think what also creeps me out is the predatory patience he exudes when talking to Naomi and Hurley.

I agree that there is definitely something strange going on with this guy. The fact that he arranged this entire expedition and lied to Hurley about who he was speaks volumes. What about...that is what we have to find out. As to him not being human and possibly having something to do with Smokey, that's a stretch, but who knows in the LOST world. Although there is something to his name I believe, and it's most likely to connect him with something very bad that is going to happen in relation to the island. I wonder what that will be.

If there is a major conspiracy behind some of the mythology, Abbadon is probably the first person we've seen who represents it. Looks like Naomi and her team were outside contractors so they probably don't know too much more than anyone else.
