I think the beating Sayid put on him in Season 2 was the worst.

Alex. Her emotional beatings have been the worst. Just kidding. I'd say Sayid too.

Every episode he is beat into the ground a little more...yet the Losties yank him up & keep him around.

Plus he's had recent spinal surgery.....ouch!

In S4, hard to tell since he never got cleaned up in between Jack's and Sawyer's beating.
But Danielle's elbow to the face has he's whining out to Jack not to call the freighter was the most fun to watch. And the second one time she knocks him out after he calls Alex his daughter too.

I dont know, but that last punch Jack gave him when he thought Ben's guys had killed Sayid and them was a definite Tivo moment in our house! Had to see it more than once! lol

Yeah I think the Jack Beatdown at the end of Season 3 was the harshest. However we don't see the full extent of what Sayid did to him in Season 2, as the door is shut.

It happens so many times it almost is becoming comedic. Ben acts like a wise a** toward somebody, and then that somebody, in return, beats the living snot out of him. This holds particularly true if that somebody happens to be one, James Ford.

You think Ben would have figured this one out by now.

From this season only - Sawyer. But honestly I'd like to Danielle really get a hold of him. I think that out of all of them he's is actually afraid of her(she's not easily manipulated so he doesn't know how to handle her). Maybe his little encounter in her net made him wary.

Seems to me he's smart enough to know he'll get beat down--and sometimes almost gleeful (like he'd planned it that way for his own purposes). I think the only time he's really afraid is with a gun to his forehead instead of a fist.

Hmmmm, it's a toss up between the one Jack gave him and the two beatings Sawyer gave him in last night's epi. Surprised he hasn't sustained any facial fx's from all the beatings. Oh, I forgot.....the island has healing properties:rolleyes: !

I don't think Sawyer's beatings were that severe. I think Jack gave it to him far worse, repeatedly punching him in the face, ouch!! Sayid did a pretty good job on him too. It's amazing how he never breaks his nose or something!

jack bloodied him tho, it would be nice to kno which bruises on ben's face are from who. heh.

Sayid jacked him up REAL good in season 2.

I don't know the worst but the one I ENJOYED most was Danielle. Since everyone seems to be getting a turn w/Ben I'd like to see Danieele and Alex double team him

It's funny, but for such a puny looking guy, Ben sure does seem to like to goad people into beating the snot out of him, doesn't he?

And while I like to see Ben get slugged at any old time, it's just gleeful when Danielle does it. :D

Definitely Jack - weeks of pent-up aggression went into that, and I reckon Jack's got more punching power than Sawyer.

remember how even Jack's fight with Ethan was? how many times he got hurt in that fight? so far every time we've seen sawyer fight back in a fight he's whamped the other person without contest.

I'd say Jack's. When Sayid was beating on Ben, Sayid's position wasn't really all that comfy. He was kicking and punching DOWN at Ben while being in a standing position, so the kicks and punches weren't as effective as they could've been.

But Jack? He was SITTING ON BEN, punching his face in with some serious RAGE. I mean, Jack thought that Ben had just killed three of his friends and he was full of pent-up rage too. And his position was just so delicious... couldn't have been better. Those punches were killer-hard and just... ouch. Definitely the worst beating.

I think Sayid gave it to him the best.

Ben likes it, he gets to see what really triggers a person's anger. Best believe he files it away in his twisted mind for use later on down the road. I love Ben, even if he is a mosquito, and hope he sticks around for a long time.

My vote goes to Rousseau. She owes Ben at least one "within-an-inch-of-his-life" beating for every year he kept her daughter from her.

Out of those three options I must say Jack's beating was definitely the most severe, Jack displayed some real anger on that beating. But the one that made me laugh was when Danielle elbowed him.

Nah, I wouldn't like that. I don't think Rousseau is that excessive. I think all her violent actions are actually quite calculated... I couldn't see her beating down on Ben like Jack, Sawyer and Sayid have. She isn't like that.

Ben reminds me of Sawyer in early season 2 - shot, stomped on and beat down. Minus the bullet, in Ben's case, but the repeated beatings seem to be taking their toll. He looked awful this week. He must be relieved they're finally in Otherville and at least he doesn't have to be led around on a leash any more.

The beatdown from Jack was awesome. Definitely the one that hurt the most, I'd think.

Maybe it's just because Jack wears sleeveless shirts and his biceps are more prominently on display.

I agree that those blows must have hurt Ben. I think what particularly hurt Ben was the fact that he misjudged Jack. Ben has been able to find each person's weak point and exploit it. He's been doing it to Locke all along and he owns Sawyer. He knew that Jack cares for the people he feels responsible for but Ben forgot to factor in Jack's hard head. This attempt at controlling Jack did not work and he got an extremely severe beating as well. It must have hurt him twice over. But I don't think Ben will make the same mistake twice.

Season 2 beat down by Sayid. I mean c'mon the man is a professional.
Ben's tough though. Never cracked.
