I just had to ask this of someone else. I'd ask Javi if there was a copy of Lewis Caroll's "The Hunting of the Snark" floating around on the island somewhere, and he wasn't sure. Do you know if this interesting poem has been read by any of our castaways?

Also, if you are at liberty to say, are the numbers important BEYOND being cursed. Because it is driving me CRAZY! And I'm a 35-year-old guy working in corporate communications. I should be beyond constantly trying to figure out what those (bleepin') numbers mean!

Finally, what does a writer's assitant do? I'm an aspiring screenwriter -- did a stint in script development with Marcia Nasatir and Steven Haft way back when -- but never heard the term writer's assistant. Can you give me some insight into what you do? Is it a bit like continuity?

Actually 34-year-old ... my birthday's Friday. But that's just a bit of braggin'. Oh, an you know, speaking as a Pisces, that zodiac sign could come into play on this island ... the two fish/the yin-yang. I wonder if our castaways weren't all born in Feb. or March. Hmmm.
