Hi to whoever reads this, and thanks!!

You're going to think I'm crazy, but regarding Locke: I always thought there was something up with the way his face was scarred from the crash. I believe the scar is a line that runs from below his eye (between the left eye and his nose) to around the cheek. The scar seems to divide Locke's face in half. I keep thinking of that Star Trek episode where Kirk and co. run into a creature whose face is half white, half black.
It seems to me that the essence of Locke's character may be written on his face via the scar...I adore Locke, and I just don't see anything evil about him, though. He's a fabulous character.

Am I crazy? LOL Ok.....I know that's a loaded question.

Hi, Betsy
The scar actually runs over the right eye, from above the eyebrow to the cheek just below the eye, as though something cut in a relatively straight line across the eye just missing the eyeball. I think of it as the mark of the miracle or the mark of the Island but that's just my interpretation. The make up artist and I chose where to put the scar. The writers really gave no instructions in that respect. Happy New Year!
