It seems that Ben was correct all along.

Ben's statement that Sayid should have thought with his guns rather than his heart

makes me think that whatever happens on the island will prove Ben's fear of the freighties valid. It almost seems that Sayid is beholden to Ben and that if he had only listened to Ben, he would not be beholden to him.

Any thoughts?

It made me wonder if Sayid falls for someone else on the Island this season or if Ben was referring to Nadia in California. Sayid wanted off of the Island before to get to Nadia. It looks like Sayid was one of the Oceanic 6 and made it home. Ben found him and is hiring him to take out his revenge on Dharma or what is left of it = the freighties.
It is starting to look like Sayid's guilt over leaving the Island has put him in a bad place similar to one we saw Jack and Hurley in only different. I can only guess what kind of life the other Oceanic 6 are going to be leading when we see those

It seems from the 3 FF we've seen, that none chose the right side. (I am not counting Kate, bc we didn't see that much of her story)
