Didn't the pilot guy say something about Naomi being upper management? What does that mean?

Well we know from the scene in Confirmed Dead that she was in charge of keeping them alive, getting them back off of the island, etc. So, yeah, I would say she is "upper management" (the term being used a bit tongue in cheek).

Daniel, Frank, Charlotte and Miles are hired-hands, while Naomi worked more directly for Abbadon... and whomever Abbadon works for.

well, Frank made the comment that she was with upper managment, and that they "didn't exactly hang out in the cafeteria" does that mean that they had some contact or training with the team for a period of time before they came to the island?

I'm sure they would have had some training together - not to mention whatever time they spent together on the freighter. So she obviously did not become buddies with them on the freighter.

I wonder if you are on to something she would be going back in time. How weird would that be and what would the limitations on that be. Could you ship Boone or Eko through the portal and restore their lives? Keep Shannon dead though:)
