Was it me or did it seem like Sayid FF was futher into the future than Jack and Kates? Some of the clothing kind of looked a little futuristic? Or maybe I'm just not up on Europian fashion?:confused:

I didn't have that thought, no. He was talking and threw away a Razr phone which were and still are pretty popular.

Nah, I think the style differential was just the production's way of trying to set the scene in Europe when it was probably filmed in Hawaii somewhere.

Europe does tend to be ahead in the fashion industry. Hell, mullets were 'cool' when I was in Spain.

I think it could have been further in the future than 2007. There was a noticeable amount of grey and his beard and hair.

Also when discussing her employer - and, more importantly, her own razr phone - Elsa called him "old-fashioned".

I think the 'old fashioned' comment was prompted by an old-school beeper/pager, not a Razr phone.
