View Full Version : More winking... MinnieVanMommie 02-21-2008, 10:24 PM Last show there was a thread about how everyone winked at each other...seems to be something they are doing now also Southern Belle 02-21-2008, 10:26 PM YES!! :woohoo: Wasn't it great??? BrothaJefe316 02-22-2008, 02:47 AM Haha! Yep! I saw that, and totally thought of the "Wink Wink" thread in The Economist forum. Dr. Suds 02-22-2008, 02:53 AM I'm going out on a limb based on just a single viewing so far, but I was pretty sure I saw Kate wink at her mother after she turned down her mother's deal offer by which she would get to see the baby. Robert Fiver 02-22-2008, 03:08 AM So, the winking would stand for deception, right? Eyes opening = awaking to new experience??? On further review, my call stands. Watch Kate's right eye when she gets up to leave; they give us a rxn shot of her mother too. Robert I saw this posted elsewhere and have reviewed 3 times. Just don't see it. natfuse 02-23-2008, 10:56 PM Hi - I posted the "wink wink" thread for the Economist, so I was watching carefully for winks in this EP. I noticed Hurley wink at Sawyer when Kate came to visit, but then Sawyer said "got something in your eye, Hurley?" I was disappointed that Sawyer didn't seem to "get it," whatever "it" might be... or maybe it was as it seemed, Hurley was winking at Sawyer in a junior-high "hey, you've got a pretty girl" kind of a way :-) Didn't notice Kate winking at her mother, I'll have to go back and watch for that again. snomad 02-23-2008, 11:03 PM The winking is interesting. More interesting - to me - is that the winks have led to miscommunication. First Kate, now Sawyer. The two con artists both missed subtle winks. gingersnap2323 02-23-2008, 11:05 PM Saw Hurley wink....saw Kate blink kbnha5 02-24-2008, 12:33 AM Ugh! After reading that "wink wink" thread I told myself to watch out for winks on the next episode..... Completely forgot with all the crazy (yet great) stuff going on on the ep. hahaha. I did see Hurley blink though. I was like "AH! A Wink there it is!" But then Sawyer acknowledged it so I was like "Aww man! That one didn't count!" Ok ok....next time I'll be on the lookout for winks!!! I'm determined!!! BrothaJefe316 02-24-2008, 12:58 PM I definitely didn't see the alleged Kate wink, after rewatching several times just now... Maybe I'm just looking at the wrong place. Can someone who claims to see it post corresponding lines of dialogue or some other point of reference so I can be sure I'm looking in the right place? I just don't see it. LockeRocks815 02-24-2008, 11:18 PM uh yea Kate didnt wink at her mom, if she did then you can call me a non lost fan. |
