Should Kate have been found guilty? Yes, we know she committed the acts, but did she deserve to go to jail? Or, now, with everything else that happened to her, and now that she is raising Aaron, is this the "right" thing?

It's an interesting question to me, because we are used to seeing that look of fear in her face about jail and being handcuffed... but this time the look is because she has to get home to Aaron. IMO, that fear has totally changed into a new feeling. She used to be only in it for herself. Now she's in it for Aaron.

Happy Birthday, Laura!

Murder is forever. So... no.

However, I have a v. v. v. hard time taking any of this seriously because that trial is THE most idioticly contrived storyline ever written on LOST. I'm sorry, but I can't even be bothered to contemplate the philosophical questions when the story is so lame.

Thanks, Claudia! And with that, I am going to close this thread, because the trial is being discusses elsewhere and this feels repetitive.
