She's playing both sides (Jack/Sawyer). She's mean to Sawyer. She's angry because he doesn't want a baby? (I thought she knew that baby=Not good).
And she doesn't seem very guilty about what she's done in the past..hmmm

Let's see...Kate is openly using and juggling two men. She is lying about being the mother of another woman's child. She is getting out of prison time for a laundry list of crimes (including murder in the first) which she actually deserves to be convicted for.
I really don't know why we are suppose to like Kate...

Im just glad that she finally took a shower after 2 days of living in a house with running water.
I mean, she washed the sheets before she washed herself.

Kate is completely narcisistic (sp?). I don't think she thinks about much of anything but getting what she wants.
I did think it odd with such a long list of very serious crimes the DA was willing to let her off w/ 10 yrs probation.

Silver lining...at least she's taking care of Aaron. And it's not like she killed her stepfather bc he wouldn't buy her a new car...
Just trying to help her out. ;)

I totally agree. In this moment, I don't like her at all... I'm totally disappointed in how things seem to go right now....

I completely agree. I didn't care for Kate from the start but as the story unfolds, I like her even less. All of the characters have flaws but have experienced some growth or evolution.

It bothered me that Kate still feels no shame or remorse for murdering Wayne. The scene with her mother makes that extremely clear. If Kate herself could acknowledge her guilt, I would feel better about her going free in society.

If it were true that she murdered Wayne because he was an abusive jerk, then I could see her going free on those charges because she was trying to protect her mother. But I think she really murdered him because she was angry to find out he was her biological father. So, not a good reason. And afterwards she wasn't the kind of person you'd want your daughter to emulate. I don't hate Kate, but she's definitely not one of my favorite characters.
As to why her sentence was so, well, not a sentence..... I'm sorry to say it's probably typical. Not alot of faith in the criminal justice system I guess.

I don't have a problem with Kate's character (probably from watching way too much daytime dramas) I thought it was refreshing to see another side to Kate on this epi ....being a loving mother at the end to whom ever's baby it really is.

She wouldn't want to have a child with Sawyer because he is a sleaze and he is just like Wayne.
Also, her father had it coming so it was the right thing to do!
Go Kate! (Sure she has her issues, but who doesn't?)
