When the helicopter passed through the "wall" of the island, they jumped in time a bit.

Does this suggest the entire island is wrapped in the same sort of energy that Farraday is using? And if that is the case, does that mean the numbers that had to be entered into the computer in the Swan Hatch to set the frequency (23, 42)? And was the Swan Hatch supporting or suppressing the "farraday" energy of the island? And if *THAT* is the case, does that mean the island's "farraday" energy is waning, or increasing?

And finally, why did Ben coerce Locke into finally not pushing the button? Given the circumstances, not pushing the button must hide the island even more.

Just thoughts.
