Tonight near the beginning, we saw a brief glimpse of notes and diagrams Frank had in the helicopter. On one of those papers was a block style arrow drawn, pointing at an angle, supposedly a diagram of what bearing to follow to leave the island. The arrow in that diagram looked just like this one, same angle, same style:

I have always believed that Desmond was having his flashes before the hatch blew, and that his mural is evidence of that. Many things have turned up on that mural that we didn't know about at that time. And if Desmond was truly locked up, he wouldn't have known either. He was exposed to the electromagnetic energy for 3 years on a steady basis. It must have began effecting his consciences place in time way back then.

Maybe when we get some screen caps we can compare the diagram with the mural above.

Wow, good catch. I always wanted to find out more about that mural. I missed the arrow on the papers in the copter, but maybe we can decipher more of the mural now? Has anyone been keeping up on it?

Could Radzinski have drawn the mural? Could he have eventually tried to escape the island, hit the ebola zone, come back, and eventually killed himself as a result?

Don't think there have been updates since S3 when the mural-like painting was shown in Widmore's office during Des's FBYE episode.

When the mural was revealed to be painted by Jack Bender, people explained away how there was information in the mural that Des couldn't know by saying that Bender just painted plot points that he knew about happening that season, etc.... but now there is all new meaning!

I don't know about the arrow, but going to the link that Lost Laura provided the "robot" looking thing in the upper right corner looks like what was hanging over Aaron's crib. This was probably brought up last week, I searched and couldn't tell, it is disabled. I only saw it tonight on the "pop up" version
