After watching this episode and seeing Desmond jump between time periods, I couldn't help to think about Jacob, Ben, Rosseau's team,

Is Jacob afflicted with the same type of 'power' that Desmond had?
It would explain how at one time his cabin is existent, but the next it's gone. And from the screen capture of Jacob, he was dressed from the 1700's or so.

Is Ben able to use time travel to commute to and from the island?
He could have easily been traveling to and fro the island with time travel, and have someone like that girl he liked in his flashback, as a constant. We do know the writers plain to continue on her and Ben's relationship.

Is the sickness that Danielle's team suffered from the time switching?
And why hasn't other people who have left and entered the island, why aren't they sick too? Is this why Ethan gave Juliet a drug to knock her out in NIP?
