Hope this isn't posted before - Did Penny say something like "I didn't believe you until I spoke with Charlie?

If she's been looking for Desmond for 3 years, then I don't think she was talking about talking to him when he was in the Looking Glass.

Kind of fits when Charlie appeared to Hurley in the first episode of this season when Hugo said something like "You are not here" and Charlie said something like. "But I am here".

Just wondering - I think I've only every put up a few posts but thought I would trow that out there..........

Well, she didn't really have a good reason to believe Desmond would call her 12-24-04 until she talked to Charlie, and Charlie confirmed that Des was alive.

No she said "when I talked to your friend Charlie". It's pretty clear that she meant the other day, and that she then knew that Des was really alive and on the island that she'd been researching for 3 years.

I get why she said that, I was just wondering when she talked to Charlie.

Probably only a day/a few hours or so for her, since it was a few days ago on the island.

Does it bother anyone else that Des never mentioned to her that the survivors and they are alive... or are to we assume she knew Charlie

Desmond has no memory of Flight 815 nor any survivors...he did not know who Sayid was

I was under the impression that he regained his 2004 memory at the end, when he addressed Sayid by his name.

I got the impression at the end of the episode that once he had caught ahold of his "constant" that everything came back into focus for him... ie: he knew Sayid again

She talked to Charlie at the Looking Glass. It was a couple of days ago. No mysery there. What I found interesting is when she said something about knowing where the Island was. THe thing is, she didn't know about a boat when she talked to Charlie, but Minkowski said she kept calling the freighter.

Hmmmmm....

I did not get that impression. The impression I got was him walking over to Sayid, and saying 'Sayid?' as in that is your name right, Thank You!!!!

Even if he did begin to remember everything, he was having heartfelt emotions and the only thing that was on his mind was to express his love for Penny, and moreso hearing her voice say 'I Love You.'

Keep in mind, his sole purpose of getting on the helicopter was to see Penny or get answers about her, and that was his number one priority, and the survivors of 815 were secondary at best.
