I thought of something that would be cool. When Desmond was trying to remember the phone number, I was hoping they would show him getting a tattoo of it. Kinda like that movie Memento. Maybe someone (probably Daniel) will experiement later in the show with it.


Now I know what you might say. "Daniel Faraday said that your body doesn't jump, only your mind". But the way I took that line was that it is your same body, just your conscience that jumps between them.

Interesting thought. I wonder if this will tie in to the attention that they have paid to Jack's tattoos in previous seasons?

And I've been wondering if crazy-future-FF-Jack might have been suffering from Desmond's condition. Particularly in the hospital scene where he says "you bring my father down here!" And when he calls Kate and says "please, I just need to see you." Maybe he needed to make contact with his constant.

That's funny because i love this movie and when Faraday came to the island his memory loss makes me think of Memento too. I would love to see a lost episode cuting like Memento is.

When Desmond goes back to the island and thanks Daniel how sweet would it be if he's like "Do I know you? You see, I have this condition...."?

His hair didn't because in the Royal Scots he had short hair. A tattoo is forever though, so if he would have gotten it back then, he would have it in 2004. No different than if you got a tattoo in 1996.
