When Dan said that i jumped out my chair, clenched my fist and shouted"YYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!"

rebel, that is exactly the same thing I did. I think we are all becoming freaks of some sort.

I agree, that was the best moment in the show.
I didn't expect it at all, which made it all the sweeter.

I wasn't as impressed as others by this episode, I'd rate it a 5 on a 1-10 scale.
But I LOVED that moment and Daniel ROCKED!

What an amazing moment. I feel this is maybe the most critical episode so far. So much information so gracefully and poignantly delivered. Someone on the live posting thread said the actor playing Des just won an Emmy. He's got my vote. And Daniel is now a "hero" and my favorite new character. No one else is close.

There it is, Ajax.

Just when you (or someone you love), thought it was safe to give up on LOST, this happens.

I think my brain just melted.

If this one got a 5 then last weeks must have received a 2 from you. I think this is the best episode of the season narrowly edging out the economist. JMO

Yeah. I agree. Great moment. A line we steadfast time-travel theorists have been waiting for since Season 1.

TPTB have very cleverly averted the "twin paradox" cliche and yet still managed to give us much of the coolness that comes with the notion of travelling through time to "meet" your younger/older self.

Desmond and Locke have always been the characters I most identify with in both my personality and in philosophy.

Now I can throw Faraday into the mix.

Wonderful episode.

This was truly an amazing geek-out episode and that was one of the best parts.

The only thing that could have made it even better would have been if Desmond's other physicist friend, Donovan, had walked by or even stopped to chat. I kept looking for him. I've been hoping he would show up again.

If you played Find815, the tie ins to Queens Royal College and 423 Cheyne Walk were doubly cool!

Speaking of which, no one has entered the maxwell groups site yet...I wonder if there is a clue from last nights tie ins...

I knew he was gonna say that, so it didn't have a huge impact, but when I figured it out, I was psyched. I almost screamed "He's gonna tell him to see him in the past!!!!!!!!!!" lol. That part was soooo BttF, my favorite movie. Extra cool since Dan totally reminds me of Marty.

I have to agree, that was the best line of the night. Hubby and I looked at each other and both said "COOL!!"

I must admit, though, my head is still spinning from all the info last night. Desmond episodes always wear me out.

Heh, but he's crazy like Doc. Be great if he said "Great Scot" when he Desmond revealed what year he thought it was. With Des being scottish too. :D
Actually, that'd probably have been too fan noddy.

I was waiting for him to say "Bush's KID is President?? Who's the Vice President? Chelsea Clinton??" And Great Scott would have been hilarious!

Really? I get more of a George McFly feel from him. In fact, I think Crispin Glover would have played Dan's part verrrrrry well.

He's such a McFly...over at the Dan Appreciation Thread, I think that pacejunkie mentioned that they're already calling Dan McFly on other threads.

I loved the whole scene where he brought about the paradox. It was such a great moment in LOST.

I guess I kind of see Crispin Glover too...but he has Michael J Fox's mannerisms and everything, it's the first thing I noticed about him.
