..one of those slow motion endings with music playing where we get to see where everyone's at and who they're hanging out with. We haven't had one yet in season 4 and now with characters in 3 locations (beach, barracks, freighter) we only get to spend time with a group every three weeks. I could use a glance around the island to see how everyone's coping with the new set-up. No biggie though.

A little Smokey here and there wouldn't hurt either.
What are you missing in this season?

I think that would come around mid-season after they have been settled for a bit.

And totally agree about seeing Smokey. He's definitely due for an appearance. :biggrin:

The island seems like it could use its "security system" right about now ;)

i'm not surprised we haven't seen smokey! think about it, he (is it a he or a she or an it?!) doesn't like the sonic barrier so he's never gonna appear at the barracks. And he's never gone as far as the beach camp.

So unless we see some people trekking across the island looking far too relaxed I doubt we'll see him - not yet anyway!

We've already seen people too relaxed trapsing across the island. Sayid Miles and Co wonderin around on the way to the barracks. Locke and his whole crowd wondering up to the where's the cabin and then to the barricks.

I want more island stuff. Smokey, boars, whispers...especially whispers.

I saw a cow.
I killed a chicken.
I was on a ferris wheel.

I hope Smokey comes back soon.

I really want one of those slow-motion things where they show everyone and play a song that perfectly expresses how everyone's feeling. They did that in a few episodes in Season 1 and I loved it!

I don't really miss Smokey all that much...smokey might equal death, and I really don't particulary wish death on anyone right now..

The inconsistency with Smokey just doesn't make any sense to me. In season one there were loud trumpet sounds and all that, and now you don't even hear that. What about the hole that Locke almost got dragged into? Will that ever be revisited?

A terrific scene, in my opinion, would have been to show the freighties landing on the island, and then hearing that loud trumpet sound that the Monster used to make way back in season 1, and then to see the freighties' reactions.

I agree! I want to hear the mourning song, the slow piano music, as people walk around sad but content. And then maybe a wrap-around shot of Locke looking all scary again. Ahh, those were the days.

A while back someone posted that they thought they saw Smokey, The Economist, I think, when Sayid and Miles et al were in the jungle going to the barracks, but it turned out to be a shadow.

I would love to see Smokey in the background...just kind of blowing across the back of the scene.

I guess, since (?) doesn't like technology, it stayed away from N842M.

But now that a few of them are in camp, maybe he'll show up if they wander off too far.

We really need a scene of the freighties getting freaked, while the Losties, you know, they're kindof used to it.
