How many times does Locke have to get the message that Ben is, under no circumstances, to be trusted? Ben has made Locke look to be a fool on multiple occasions, orchestrated the kidnapping and killing of Locke's friend, shot Locke (!!), and there is gullible old Locke going down the same stupid path again.

Yes, but I don't think Ben will or can do anything to Locke.

When Ben shot Locke he said, "I hope he helps you John." (Speaking of Jacob.) I think Ben and Locke have come to the realization that they need each other and each is important and beneficial to the island's survival. Ben is a better leader but John is special.

I love the thought of Ben and Locke as a team, but don't think it's ever going to happen. Ben likes all the power and I don't think he likes to share. I don't agree with the decision Locke made to let Ben out of that room. I know he got some information out of him but still I think he made the wrong choice.
