Ok, so the scene where Juliet goes to Ben's for dinner there are a lot of pictures on the wall. Seemed to be some of Alex when she was younger. Then there was a large painting of a women looked a lot like an older version of Annie. Anyone else notice this.

Those pictures are old news. There was a lengthy discussion last season about the fact that the blonde woman in the picture appears to holding some sort of hamster.:)

The blonde woman in the painting looks very much like Juliet. I think she is Ben's "her", aka. Annie.

This painting has been seen in perhaps a half-dozen episodes. Indeed, every episode that shows the interior of Ben's home has made of point of clearly showing this painting on the wall - even scenes that showed young Ben when he was growing up and living with his father.

There also has been a lot of discussion in the past about this painting. The conclusion that the fans have reached is that it is Ben's mother. I'm not sure whether this is something that has been canonically revealed to us or not, but it seems to be quite clear that it is indeed his mother.

What is not clear is why she is holding the rodent-like creature in her lap. It appears to be a hamster or guinea pig. Some have speculated that it represents Ben. But that is just speculation so far...

Yeah, the pictures of Alex as a little girl have been shown before. I thought I read they were actually real photos provided by Tania and her family.
