So I kind of like Goodwin now. Are we supposed to be sympathetic toward The Others now? I definitely fell in love with Juliet during this episode.

Well, I'm sure not ALL the Others are "bad" people. Some may realize they have been operating under false pretenses. But I try to remember what some of them have done to our Losties. And then I don't feel so sorry for them - like Tom Friendly for example.

However, I'm not a "fan" of the Others like some people seem to be. The Losties always come first to me.

Going behind his wife's back to have a fling with the new arrival to the Island, trying to convince her not to worry about Ben, attempting to kill Ana Lucia? Still seems the same to me...

Yeah he does not strike me as a wonderful guy. Juliet has grown on me but I still don't have all confidence in her yet

Oh yeah, I'm sure Nathan thinks Goodwin is just swell.

Same for me. I love Ben so it seems almost logical that i don"t like Goodwin! lol

Kinda made him a little more human. Some of the losties have done just as bad of things as he did. I definitely liked him better than Ethan. Ethan had the "creepy" factor.

I have ALWAYS liked Goodwin and found him sexy. But snapping Nathan's neck just because he might possibly have been inconvenient in the future--not the action of a nice guy.

Maybe tptb want to throw show shades of gray into all of black and white imagery that they use so much.

I don't like Goodwin. I never did and never will. He seemed like evil man. Cheating on his gorgeous wife. Tries to imitate Steven Seagal and snap peoples' necks. I don't like people who cheat on their relationship. It shows that they don't care about anyone else except themselves. This is why i don't really like Sun that much either

regarding snapping Nathan's neck, maybe we do have an answer now. We know Widmore is the other party, the one trying to reach the island that Ben is protecting. So Nathan may have been part of Widmore's group and Goodwin recognized that. Maybe Widmore has his people flying around like Jack was doing, trying to find the island.

I've always had a bit of a man-crush on Goodwin, I think it's his hair and suaveness.

He may have been a ruthless murderer, but he had Juliet and Harper ("sleeping on the couch" indeed!) on the go at once and was already making a start on Ana Lucia. Total respect.

I got the feeling that Harper and Goodwin's marriage was maybe an arranged one. Because Harper seemed to be almost into Ben, like jealous of Juliet, dismissing Ben's liking Juliet as being because she simply looked like someone else. And the character of Harper seemed disturbed enough to be into a guy like Ben.

Ben's entitlement seemed so real when he told Juliet she was his that I really believed they might have been married maybe. But I don't think that's the case. But I do believe that Ben truly believes that Juliet is his to have.

Juliet was participating in said cheating as well, she's guilty too. I don't want her to die though. But, she does seem like something of a tragic character, and since we haven't seen her in flashforwards yet, I worry she may go the way of Boone and Charlie. However, if they ever did return to the island, (the oceanic six) then it seems right that juliet might be there. Maybe with Ben keeping her as "his" somewhere, maybe just hiding out on the island with whoever is left.
